Description: Originally an oyster warehouse, Scott's has been serving up its legendary seafood since 1851. A conveniently short walk from Green Park and Bond Street tube stations, this Mayfair mainstay uses burgundy leather banquettes and subdued lighting to create an air of old-school elegance which reflects the restaurant's chic clientele. Designed by Martin Brudnizki and highlighted by the exquisite bar topped with onyx and finished in stingray skin, the revamped interior of Scott's still carries the 1960's glamour of yesteryear. Traditional fish and seafood dishes dominate the menu, although seasonal meat and game make an appearance. Atlantic Halibut, Dover Sole and Lobster have proven to be popular choices, and there is also a Roasted Shellfish platter for two to share. The famous oyster bar with its three-metre crustacean display offers a more relaxed dining area and there is also an art deco-style private dining room, ideal for canapé receptions, press launches and private celebrations.

Pre Christmas shopping trip and we decided to have a chill out lunch. We choose Scotts as we had meant to go a few times and had to cancel. When we arrive it was a warm autums day and people where sitting outside eating. We was shown to our table by very polite staff. (inside) Well we had a glass... More

My husband and I visited Scott's for an early Sunday dinner. All tables outside were taken so we opted to sit at the bar. Atmosphere was very nice, and the staff were friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the shellfish cocktail, the mixed oysters with wild boar sausages and then Lobster thermidor and Pollock. All incredibly delicious. Great place to enjoy... More

Top notch service and seating in a quiet alcove where I could really enjoy the atmosphere. Dining alone is always an interesting experience, but the experience was lovely. The waiter provided a few tastings of different red wines so I could find the best one for me. The oysters were incredible. The sea bass out of this world. The staff... More

Most of the food was fabulous although the tuna steak was disappointing, the service was great and they know how to make a Martini! They don't however know how to serve one......in a glass that was perhaps fashionable in the seventies for some Croft Original! The Barperson did change the glass for a proper Martini glass when asked though (there... More

Scott's is outstanding! I have been dining there for years and have never been disappointed. The biggest problem is having to choose which two or three items to order from the menu. Favorites include bass ceviche, octopus carpaccio, tuna tartare and Dover sole. Staff is excellent. Lunch at one of the sidewalk tables next to the heat lamps is a... More

Had the most wonderful lunch in the last of the summer sun. A glass of champagne with Bass Ceviche. Perfect. Then almost feeling I wasn't doing the venue justice I opted for the fish and chips as a treat, again wonderful. Everything about the experience was excellent - my new favourite way to spend a Saturday lunch time.

The food was lovely as you would expect but the experience was painful. The wine took a long time to arrive, our glasses were left empty, the food was slow to come out, then was brought out one dish at a time, we had to ask them to clear our mains away. It was a meal spent looking around wondering... More

Always a very enjoyable experience. The place just makes you want to enjoy food, wine and the company you are with. Great atmosphere, effortless, exemplary yet understated service, along with great food and an extensive wine list. A lot to like. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

The seafood platter was out of this world. Definitely a place for a special occasion. The lobster bisque was also fantastic.

Delicious seafood, the staff were amazing. The surroundings are traditional but not outdated. Not too expensive for this standard of restaurant. I would definitely book again though you do have to book quite a bit in advance.
