Description: Originally an oyster warehouse, Scott's has been serving up its legendary seafood since 1851. A conveniently short walk from Green Park and Bond Street tube stations, this Mayfair mainstay uses burgundy leather banquettes and subdued lighting to create an air of old-school elegance which reflects the restaurant's chic clientele. Designed by Martin Brudnizki and highlighted by the exquisite bar topped with onyx and finished in stingray skin, the revamped interior of Scott's still carries the 1960's glamour of yesteryear. Traditional fish and seafood dishes dominate the menu, although seasonal meat and game make an appearance. Atlantic Halibut, Dover Sole and Lobster have proven to be popular choices, and there is also a Roasted Shellfish platter for two to share. The famous oyster bar with its three-metre crustacean display offers a more relaxed dining area and there is also an art deco-style private dining room, ideal for canapé receptions, press launches and private celebrations.

This was an excellent experience; the food was superb: I had Sardines and Dover Sole. The Sardines were evocative of quay-side Italian restaurants and the Sole was as good as any I've ever eaten. My wife was disappointed that they had run out of prawns for the Prawn Cocktail, but was very pleased with the Mozzarella / Capanata alternative. It... More

Lots of hype surrounding this restaurant. Food was pretty good but service was terrible. They got our order wrong. They dropped food on us. And they would disappear for long periods of time. Not worth it.

From the moment you step into this restaurant, you know you are in for something special. The tuna tartare, sardines, and seabass were exceptional. Everywhere were happy diners enjoying crab, oysters, lobster. It is a seafood lovers' paradise. But that is where the magic ended as dessert was surprisingly lackluster. The honeycomb ice cream was missing the honeycomb and the... More

Went here for Lunch for my birthday treat after a visit to Louboutins shoe shop which is 50 yds away. After a nice relaxed drink at the bar they kindly found us a table outside in the sun. The food is excellent one of the best sea bass I have had together with the vegetables which were perfect. You couldn't... More

On arriving early for our reservation (and my friend) I was welcomed and passed a newspaper to read at the bar. The atmosphere was great with plenty of activity and happy faces. As a Cornishman in London I had to have the Cornish sardines as a starter. I was not disappointed! The taste, presentation and service was first-class throughout our... More

What a great meal - started with Seafood Cocktail in Rose Marie sauce, a cl;assic taste I had forgotten but will long remember, Scallops which were cooked and served differently than on the menu but done without any fuss, were fresh and sublime.Slip Soles and Halibut for main were again bright in colour with great flavour and texture. Decadent pudding... More

Had Sunday brunch and it was fantastic. Sat outside people watching and reading the Sunday papers provided by them. Razor clams with sausage was great....sardines were tough to eat due to the small bones. Tomato salad, ceviche were also good. Highly reccomend
