Description: Originally an oyster warehouse, Scott's has been serving up its legendary seafood since 1851. A conveniently short walk from Green Park and Bond Street tube stations, this Mayfair mainstay uses burgundy leather banquettes and subdued lighting to create an air of old-school elegance which reflects the restaurant's chic clientele. Designed by Martin Brudnizki and highlighted by the exquisite bar topped with onyx and finished in stingray skin, the revamped interior of Scott's still carries the 1960's glamour of yesteryear. Traditional fish and seafood dishes dominate the menu, although seasonal meat and game make an appearance. Atlantic Halibut, Dover Sole and Lobster have proven to be popular choices, and there is also a Roasted Shellfish platter for two to share. The famous oyster bar with its three-metre crustacean display offers a more relaxed dining area and there is also an art deco-style private dining room, ideal for canapé receptions, press launches and private celebrations.

It was more than 15 years since I was last at Scott's but I was delighted to have the opportunity to enjoy a meal there with work colleagues earlier this month. The fried oysters and the grilled cod were very good and a colleague's yellow fin tuna looked pretty good too. A decadent chocolate dessert completed this memorable meal in... More

One of my favorites restaurant in london. Really chic and cool place. We ate at the champagne bar for a smart dinner, food and beverage was great and service too. I always come back in this restaurant because I like it so much.

Booked Scott's due to its reputation and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the food wonderful and the atmosphere great. It was classy and unpretentious, yet very stylish. The cod was beautiful and the whole meal felt like superb value. As a calibration, had dinner at the Ritz earlier this year and it wasn't a patch on Scott's.... More

I ordered the grilled Dover sole and a matching glass of white wine. After about 45 minutes, the cook came back and shows up the pre-cooked the fish for me to accept the outcome. After this he took away the fish to a visible table some distance away, cleaned it and returned with the fillets + 2 sauces. Everything at... More

We went to this restaurant for a special occasion. Without even asking for our preferences, we were allocated into the more casual / informal area of the restaurant, where the same kind of dishes are served and the same prices are charged, although there is no linen on the tables and those are located in a darker and narrower space.... Professional with good food. We would go back but would ask for a table near the bar. We were at the back of the restaurant which wasn't great.

You can never go wrong with Scott's. Go for the Dover fish and please try the chips. They must be the most delicious chips ever... A nice cosy traditional looking restaurant. If you're inviting friends they will enjoy it.

I've visited Scott's on previous occasions and never been disappointed until this visit, whilst the service was attentive and the start up to the usual excellent standards excellent the main course was definitely below par. The deep fried haddock was slightly soggy and tasted mostly of batter, the fish itself had no discernible haddock taste and was bland. Very disappointing!
