Description: Originally an oyster warehouse, Scott's has been serving up its legendary seafood since 1851. A conveniently short walk from Green Park and Bond Street tube stations, this Mayfair mainstay uses burgundy leather banquettes and subdued lighting to create an air of old-school elegance which reflects the restaurant's chic clientele. Designed by Martin Brudnizki and highlighted by the exquisite bar topped with onyx and finished in stingray skin, the revamped interior of Scott's still carries the 1960's glamour of yesteryear. Traditional fish and seafood dishes dominate the menu, although seasonal meat and game make an appearance. Atlantic Halibut, Dover Sole and Lobster have proven to be popular choices, and there is also a Roasted Shellfish platter for two to share. The famous oyster bar with its three-metre crustacean display offers a more relaxed dining area and there is also an art deco-style private dining room, ideal for canapé receptions, press launches and private celebrations.

Quality begets quality. This is well known established restaurant and as such the service, food and attention to detail is up there with the best and really met my expectations. Fish is the order of the day so if you're not a fan you may want to choose another restaurant.

My wife and I have been to Scott's three or four times over the years. They are part of the same group as The Ivy, Le Caprice, Bam-Bou, J.Sheekey. If you are seeking a good quality reliable meal for not a cheap night out, approx £150 a couple - 3 courses, wine etc, maybe a special occasion then you cannot... More

Seven of us for lunch in the private dining room was a thoroughly memorable affair ,wonderfully overseen by Dermot from Scotts. All fish dishes were cooked to perfection and matched perfectly to the wines recommneded by Dermot - a soft smotth St Veran and a light Givry - yes burgundy with fish . Service was spot on and no problems... More

Took my Dad as a treat - he'd heard about it but had never been. He was blown away by the quality of food, service and the surroundings. Not over priced at all for the quality of the experience. Excellent seafood as always.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night. The ambience is the initial impression, just right somehow. Staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had a main each (best John dory i have had) with two sides and Strawberry Cheesecake to share. Followed by a Cappucino each. Have the Cheesecake if you get the chance!! We shall return... More

I took my boyfriend for his birthday as we had heard lots of good things about this place!! And we wasn't disappointed!! Service was top notch, the food presentation was simple but well thought out. I had the clams to start (on recommendation from our waiter) my boyfriend had the smoked salmon (which was very tasty) and we shared the... More

The service was very good, the food was good but not special. For the price they charge we found that the French fries were well done, this doesn't justify the high prices. I would not recommend such a restaurant for families.

Very good fish and a very good place to people watch. My previous visit would have rated 6 stars, but this visit the food wasn't quite as good and nor was the service. Very far from bad, just not quite as slick.

Great food, well presented, by friendly staff in lovely surroundings! And we didn't even bump into Charles or Nigella, thoroughly recommended
