Description: Originally an oyster warehouse, Scott's has been serving up its legendary seafood since 1851. A conveniently short walk from Green Park and Bond Street tube stations, this Mayfair mainstay uses burgundy leather banquettes and subdued lighting to create an air of old-school elegance which reflects the restaurant's chic clientele. Designed by Martin Brudnizki and highlighted by the exquisite bar topped with onyx and finished in stingray skin, the revamped interior of Scott's still carries the 1960's glamour of yesteryear. Traditional fish and seafood dishes dominate the menu, although seasonal meat and game make an appearance. Atlantic Halibut, Dover Sole and Lobster have proven to be popular choices, and there is also a Roasted Shellfish platter for two to share. The famous oyster bar with its three-metre crustacean display offers a more relaxed dining area and there is also an art deco-style private dining room, ideal for canapé receptions, press launches and private celebrations.

Ticks almost every box for me. Great food and slick service. I am a sucker for Dover sole, and I was not disappointed! A great place to eat.

This is my second time is Scotts and as with last time it was busy and packed. Also this was a late night meal even though i don't like to eat late but this is a rare occasion; a friend was in town, i have not seen him in a long time and this is the only free time we... More

I haven't been to Scott's for quite a while and almost forgotten how beautiful this place is! We decided to have lunch there this time with my girlfriends from Istanbul who are the most demanding customers on earth! The staff didn't let us down. They were superb. I arrived a bit too early and decided to have a drink at... More

This is one of my favourite places to eat in London. Mount St for one is just a nice place to be, but to have the pleasure of walking through the doors of Scotts in the knowledge that you're about to experience a fabulous lunch is an exciting thing! For me, Scotts is one of the few places that you... More

We loved it from the moment we walked in the food was excellent and everybody enjoyed it, the place was full so we had a quick drink at the stunning bar, the waiters tried their best but felt they were struggling a bit due to having a full house as had to chase them instead of them being on top... This was our first visit to Scott's and we had booked a late lunch. First impression was the charming lady who escorted us to our table, who made us feel very welcome. The oysters (mixed) were delicious and we both had a fish dish to follow. Superb. Would definitely book when I return to London .

Pre Christmas shopping trip and we decided to have a chill out lunch. We choose Scotts as we had meant to go a few times and had to cancel. When we arrive it was a warm autums day and people where sitting outside eating. We was shown to our table by very polite staff. (inside) Well we had a glass... More

My husband and I visited Scott's for an early Sunday dinner. All tables outside were taken so we opted to sit at the bar. Atmosphere was very nice, and the staff were friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the shellfish cocktail, the mixed oysters with wild boar sausages and then Lobster thermidor and Pollock. All incredibly delicious. Great place to enjoy... More

Top notch service and seating in a quiet alcove where I could really enjoy the atmosphere. Dining alone is always an interesting experience, but the experience was lovely. The waiter provided a few tastings of different red wines so I could find the best one for me. The oysters were incredible. The sea bass out of this world. The staff... More
