Lovely but expensive

I seem to remember when these restaurants started (Arbutus etc) that the idea was fine dining at a more reasonable price. That seems to have gone out of the window. I haven't been here for a couple of years because when I first went with a friend the tables were too close together & you... read more

We stumbled across this cosy little restaurant eyeing up somewhere to eat for dinner. Immediate reaction was how the decor was quite sophisticated but a bit gloomy. We hadn't booked and so our choice for seating was frankly, a bit of a joke. We were seated right at the back. The restuarant accodomated a large group next to us so... More

Good food, but let down by the staff. We were not made to feel welcome or appreciated. Starters and main courses ere good, but the fruit tart that three of chose for desert was actually a cake, with very little fruit evident. Would be a far better restaurant if somebody kicked some customer service ethos into the staff.

Olives with artisan bread followed by canapés, then starters, mains and a dessert. All beautifully cooked with quality ingredients. A very professional, attentive service in relaxed surroundings. And all for less than 30 quid a head...I'll be back!

As soon as you enter this gem of a restaurant you are greeted and treated professionally. Many of the staff are french but everyone here is on their toes and know their job. The wines are interesting, not your usual run of the mill. If unsure the sommelier wil be only too happy to help. She is very approachable, not... More

I had an early dinner few with my partner. We had a warm welcome from the Wild Honey team & great table. The dishes had reach my expectations for a michelin star restaurant. Beautiful presentation, the taste was incredible for the beef, the cod amazingly cooked... We as well enjoyed the chariot de fromage and the wines We would like... More

Wonderful wait staff that attend to your every ned, even gave a treat to take home to have later because we were rushed for time to get to a show. The French wait staff were very knowledgable about wine and what dishes to chose.

The most beautiful restaurant in Mayfair that you actually feel hugs you when you enter. The food, wine, setting and service is amazing and if you only have time to 'do' one Michelin star establishment when you're in London, make sure it's this one. Incredibly good.

So for 2 of us having starter and main plus wine - total bill £185.00 That in itself not a problem, I'm not adverse to the occasional premium meal out - but I left feeling very much like I'd consumed a well-presented but mediocre meal, and that I could spend LESS than half the total cost elsewhere and receive an... Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
