Very good meal - but rather expensive wine list

Initially booked as party of 4, but changed it to 5 at very short notice without issue. The welcome and service were both very attentive. The food was well cooked and presented - and enjoyed by all. My criticism would be the wine list which whilst reasonably extensive is very expensive for many... read more

I was taken here by colleagues for a celebratory lunch. I have to say that the service, food and surroundings were spot on. Perfect temperature (I didn't even think of it, but I read a review that said they were cold). I had the smoked eel to start (a successful experiment), Welsh lamb for main and baked apricots for dessert.... More

My husband, daughter and I have been to Wild Honey a number of times over the years when we have been in London. It is as good now as on any previous visit or maybe better than ever! The food is delicately and imaginatively prepared. Our octopus first course was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever eaten.... More

This is an outstanding restaurant. The turbot I had was very good and the Californian Chardonnay delicious (in a 500ml carafe). Lamb sweetbreads to start also very good.

I'm a big fan of the idea of Wild Honey. My starter of the Lamb Sweetbreads was delicious and presented with delicacy, minus the fuss, something that really attracted me to the restaurant fin the first place - untortured presentation style. The rest of my party enjoyed their starters too. After, I had the Turbot, and sadly the garnish was... More

Showed up for our reservation for 2 people at 8 after having drinks with another couple. Asked if they could change our reservation to 4 people, which they did quickly and with a smile. Food and wine were excellent.

Really enjoyed our meal, the service was fantastic. Had turned up at the restaurant midweek without a booking, was met by welcoming staff who politely stated we would have a limited time slot but with plenty of time to eat. The staff were very attentive. Started our evening with a few amuse-bouche which were really good, the food presentation was... More

I am not a bit surprised. The team behind this restaurant have earned a Michelin Star in it's first year (Their previous two restaurant ventures also earned them a michelin star in the first year) Obviously, they have a chemistry and understand what gets the folks at Michelin excited. Well it is no surprise that it also got us excited.... More

Ive eaten at Arbutus (the sister restaurant also run by Antony Demetre) which was superb so had great expectations of Wild Honey and haven't been disappointed on any of my 3 visits. The taster menu was superb, the staff are excellent and the setting is lovely, I would go as far as to say that this is one of my... More

while the food was very very good my evening was slightly ruined by the spectacle of the service by a group of very young inexperienced waiters (one in particular) was behaving like a jack the lad and flirting with a waitress! (He kept putting his hands through his greasy slicked back hair) I feel the calibre of this restaurant hugely... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
