Smart, relaxed, friendly.

My wife got a great deal through Travezoo for lunch but she won't tell me how good!. However on entering this charming restaurant we received big smiles and warm greetings from everyone. Friday night, table for four hungry people. Interesting menu with dishes that are a little different and quirky. All four of us went for the scallops or should I say scollop. Even though there was only one it was succulent and delicious, had my taste buds dancing! Main course was a little bit more difficult to choose, but I went... More

Lovely looking restaurant, great food but still disappointing. We were on a Travelzoo offer, starter of pork lovely, but had missing crackling (found out from table next to us), fish main course lovely but missing deep fried curry leaves (found out from table next to us), dessert very average. Then was given bill as if we hadn't purchased offer (overcharged).... More

This is a French styled restaurant in Mayfair in the very centre of London, close to Regent Street and Oxford Circus. the décor is slightly dated and dark for my taste but very comfortable and relaxing. The menu and dishes are outstanding in my opinion and the service excellent, it is worth booking for special occasions as it is a... More

Lovely restaurant, great food, just don't use Uber in London to get there, rude smelly aggressive driver phoned to find out where the hotel we were in was, (only the Hilton Park Lane! He'd never heard of it!) Finally Left with half hour to get there, arrived late ! You live and learn, never again will I use uber. I... More

Visited with friends. Lovely restaurant with plenty of room so you don't feel squashed. Wonderful Mayfair decor. Food was amazing. My taste buds were having a great time. We had starters and mains which were all perfect and decided not to have a desert but we were given some small chocolates which were so packed with flavour they were extraordinary.... More

We went on a Thursday night for a friends birthday and from the moment I walked in the service was excellent. I was greeted with a 'how was your day?', which took me off guard when I was expecting a 'have you booked?' style welcome! I was shown to our table where my friends were already seated and was served... More

It started off badly and went downhill. I arrived to be greeted by a member of staff who said hello and then wandered off leaving me in the reception area. Then they couldn't find my booking. This was resolved. There was then a convoluted conversation with the waiter about sparking water - which just irritated me and sealed the feeling... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
