French flair in Mayfair

Read about this restaurant in a couple of publications and thought we should give it a try. Getting a reservation at prime time was a bit hard, but we landed a 7:45 on a Saturday night. They required a credit card to secure the reservation, so that might not go well with lots of people. Dinner was... read more

We were served olives straight away followed by a plate of bread and butter. I'm not fond of olives but they were quite tasty, where as the bread was a bit tough to eat. For starters I chose the 'Wild garlic velouté, soft poached egg and toasted buckwheat' - £11. The velouté was a deep shade of green and it... More

We ate here as a family of four and were not dissapointed in any way. Being conscious of the prices we went for the fixed-price Saturday lunch offer and thoroughly enjoyed each of the meals that we selected. The service as expected was very attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere was relaxed, not stuffy at all. I had expected... More

The venue is wonderful, beautiful with character and buzzy atmosphere. The food was almost all delicious, a few inconsistent plates but that happens. Drinks when they came were also wonderful. The service however was quite flawed, the senior waitress who attended our table seemed to be attending to a check list rather than looking to see what we needed. On... More

Meal was good but was it stunning....mmm...not sure, the service was excellent but the kicker was the wine list which I thought was very pricey even for a michelin restaurant. So overall I've had better and worse meals at similar restaurants, but its a decent location in heart of west end so I wouldn't rule it out but I would... More

A must try of you're dining on London. Very confident dishes which speak of the ingredients. Great service, be sure to ask the sommelier for wine advice as she's great (late harvest Zweigelt!). Will be back

Went for lunch today. We had a GREAT meal. Really high quality cooking, excellent service, nice wines, and beautiful location. Thoroughly deserving of its Michelin star. Recommended.

I had wanted to come to wild honey for a while and finally got the opportunity. It is a cute little restaurant with beautiful old fashioned wood interior. We skipped cocktails and went for a bottle of red (which was beautiful). The waiting staff were extremely attentive, one waiter in particular (unfortunately I don't know his name) really went the... Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
