This is a very nice café off Holloway Road, with friendly staff that made you feel welcome as soon as you get in. We ordered a "Croque Madamme" to share, two coffees and a dessert and paid less than a tenner. Top quality. Enjoy.

We parked in a side street to go to a specific shop and came across this small but fabulous cafe. The staff are very friendly, helpful and French. The coffee was great and the food looked amazing. I was desperate to taste some but was on a diet. However I will be back for the delicious-looking meaty pastry and blueberry... More

Off a street lined with drab shops and even worse fayre, this little gem tucked away off Holloway road is worth checking out for its hip vibe, delicious bites and courtyard garden.

Love this place. Go here frequently when in London. Great brunch menu. Love the bread board and coffee. Huge portion, lovely butter and great selection of jams (including kiwi and mint). Excellent flat white coffee. Also great bread/pastries to take away.

Their website suggests they are open every day from 8 am. There is no further information other than they do not take reservations but that one should just come along. Disappointing, therefore, that we arrived this morning at 8.30 to discover that they were not open.

It's a tiny and very homey space, a French neighbourhood food store really, but also with one big table (where you sit with the other customers) to enjoy breakfast or lunch or to read a newspaper. They have lovely soups, sandwiches and quiches.

A tiny-but-good proper french cafe', with the best croque-monsieur I could find in London (and I'm kinda very demanding). Good coffee as well - specially latte. I'm lucky enough to live next doors to them.

Often go here, with our daughter, for brunch. Really excellent coffee. Fabulous pastries. Wonderful breads. Tiny seating area, but usually get a seat. Gsrden at the back, with seating. Papers available. Really friendly staff. Close to Highbury Fields. Local at it's best!
