Its a good place to have some fast sushi. Don't mind about the staff rudeness as they are just some asiatics doing their job. Food is good, it has quality and is the best cheap sushi in London. Recommended as I will go and go again.

Visited here for first time with family. Service was very good and there was a decent selection of food. Ordered roast duck with rice, it was good but the rice lacked seasoning. My mother ordered the seafood ramen and had to ask for some sauce to add to it. The tables should have had soy sauce or seasoning for customers... More

My work colleagues and I have been eating at hare and tortoise ealing branch practically every week for over a year. I think I've been through half the menu and I've never been dissapointed with the food or service. If you're not very adventurous with new foods try the curry Laksa, katsu curry or the black bean lo mein if... More

I was with my daughter when we found this eatery in Kensington. We are at the opposite ends of the spectrum regarding meat - she is a long time vegetarian. The menu here certainly provided for that. She had the tofu with noodles - a large plateful which she could not finish. I just about finished my Singapore noodles with... More

I am a keen nutritionist thus I like to maintain a good balance diet. I must admit sushi is one of my favorite foods. Hare and Tortoise do make a very good quick snack on the go as well as a full-on dinner.

Tried this restaurant in Bloomsbury the other day as a change from Wagamama. The prices were a lot cheaper for virtually the same food, so they were better in that respect. I had the chicken ramen and I asked for some chilli oil to go with which the server kindly made up for me. Despite this, some of the other... More

I've eaten in the Bloomsbury restaurant and was looking forward to a takeaway meal from the Ealing one. Unfortunately that never appeared - after over half an hour of waiting it eventually transpired my order had been given to another customer. I got my money back and am now waiting for a pizza delivery! Very poor service, and won't be... More

I love this restaurant- whenever we want to eat outside we end there! Very good and quick service. Good team, although it's usually very busy. Prices are not very high and portions are good sizes. I love dumplings, chinese green in loveley garlic-sweet sauce, salmon teriyaki and chicken/beef chilli black bean. I've tried few diffrent sushi which I was very... More

The food here is just great! Flavors are close to home (for the asian dishes) and the service is good. Every dish is pretty much worth the buck you're paying for. Go for the dumplings, penang prawn mee and fried kueh teow. Love!

Was taken here by some work friends who come here often. Had the spicy chicken sticks, Malaysian Chicken Curry, and a pint of Kiran. Good all around and came in at 18.50 pounds. Friends echo what others say about the sushi so I would stick to the other dishes. Very clean and modern inside
