the restaurant looked like a New York Chinatown restarant but, unfortunately, it never would make it in New York. The menue was standard Cantonese, which is OK, I love Cantonese cuisine, but the preparation was average which would have been tolerable if the ingreadients, meat and squid were fresh. The restaurant needs to improve greatly to be rated acceptable.

Visited on a number of occasions given that our office is on Red Lion Street. Every dish I've tried just top notch. Had the spicy king prawn on this visit - lovely and very big portion! Just what the doctor ordered - cannot recommend highly enough!

Ate the beef ho-fan, very oily, too much meat and a lack of everything else. I don't mind more meat but at least it should be a higher quality. Service was nothing special. Maybe it was a bad day, in any case I didn't enjoy myself.

I choose this restaurant for my dad's birthday as I've visited a top of china town restaurants and never been impressed. So I resorted to tripadvisor to find a reasonably priced central Chinese with half decent reviews. This one was brilliant. We went for the set meal for 4.. £19.50pp. It was huge portions - far too much for us... More

I had three meals here a month ago. All were good and about £7 Spicy Brisket of Beef with rice, Roast Duck with rice, and Char Kway Teow noodles, Each with a pot of Chinese tea for £1. The portions are larger than usual, you are advised to have a lighter lunch or breakfast, or maybe do some strenuous exercise.... More

Visited late this evening and was totally delighted with quality of food, quantity of food and the speed and quality of service. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I would happily come back to London just to go to Kam Fung.
