Average food, slow service

Had dinner here with colleagues and clients, food is essential pub grub....it was nice enough but not crazy good. However it took 3 hrs to get through dinner...we arrived at 7pm and they were still serving deserts at 10 pm....painfully slow.

The food is excellent and great views as well. The bar is really cozy. It was a spontaneous afternoon meal and turned out to be a great one.

Walked down the river to have dinner. Narrow was recommended by good friends and we couldn't have been more disappointed. Had Sunday roast. Service was poor, long time to take our order, waiter had trouble with the language and scolded me when I went to close a fire exit door that was left open by their employee. He thought I... More

A little haven tucked away right on the river. This place will leave you hungry for more. A fantastic wide range of food available. The setting is unique and will make you want to go back time and time again. A great place for those summer evenings.

Lovely setting by the River Thames. Had a three course meal from the set menu and all courses were delicious. Staff were very attentive throughout, coming over to top up both water and wine glasses without being asked. Bearing in mind that this is a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, the prices were not as high as I'd imagined them to be.... More

This is a restaurant my wife and friends have been to a few times. It is in a lovely location right on the thames. It is only a short train ride from our home and one of those places if we are feeling like a posh Sunday lunch we'll check to see if there is a table is free. The... More

For a Gordon Ramsay establishment, this one is distinctly average. We found the food plain disappointing. My burger was incredibly more boring than what you get at cheaper places (like GBK). Squid for the starter was burning spicy rather than piquant. And the wine list was unexciting. Also, our waiter, although enthusiastic, obviously struggled with handling the interaction in English.... More

The food was outstanding and the service was absolutely exceptional. Unlike some of his celebrity chef counter parts, Mr Ramsay seems to maintain much tighter controls on consistency and quality rather than simply riding of the back of a successful brand. The restaurant is welcoming and has great views from all over. In the warmer.months there's a great outdoors area... More

We had a voucher for set lunch. Only a limited choice but what we had was lovely. The best salted caramel ice cream ever. Service was excellent. We had a table in the conservatory overlooking the river so plenty to watch. Would go back and have a la carte menu

Went to The Narrow for my boyfriend's birthday in a group of 7. We were sat in the conservatory area at a table next to the window which was the highlight for me. The view over the Thames at sunset was incredible. The food was well prepared with good size portions although it was perhaps slightly expensive for what it... More
