The location is really good, especially when you live locally. Being part of the GR empire, expectations are naturally higher than any other gastro pub, but the head chef is comfortable with his team and the dishes reflect this. Menu is inspiring and seasonal. Testing boundaries without pushing the limits. Service is ok and overall, this is a sure bet.... More

This is the worse Gordon Ramsay restaurant I have been too. Its another one of those restaurants that seems to think because it has a great view (in this instance of the River Thames) that it doesn't have to bother with the level of its service and the standard of its food. I had soup for starters it arrived with... More

After cruising down the Thames from Teddington we moored up at Limehouse Marina now feeling very hungry we decided to eat at the Narrow,Our party of 6 made our way to the restaurant,we entered about 8.10pm and found a table and sat down, after about 15 mins a woman who I think was the receptionist came to our table and asked... Great location, the atmosphere is buzzy and the service is great. Its a local pub for docklands dwellers. We had a number of sides to share and they were lovely if not a bit pricey, but if you think of it as a location tax it wasn't so bad. The potted shrimp toast was sensational and i would eat that... I booked The Narrow for a private party for my husband's 50th. I used to come here often, but hadn't been for a while, still it seemed the best option for his party. I did contact 12 places when I was booking it and 4 didn't even reply. The majority of the others would have made all the diners have... More

The place has a great location - set on the river Thames. Great for just a drink in the evening or a dinner with British classics.

Lovely location ,good service perhaps the decor is a little tired .I felt the prices traded on Mr Ramseys name what a mark up ! Fish ,chips and mushy peas 17 pounds !! Most disappointed in my choice of gnocchi with green vegetables very bland and with little taste not even when I asked for some parmesan cheese.Treacle pudding and... More

We went for lunch on a Saturday, booked beforehand and requested a table overlooking the river. We arrived early, and were offered a different table or we could wait and have a river view. We waited and sat in the bar area. We were there with our 18month old, made to feel very welcome and the staff interacted with him... More

There were, I think 15 of us. There was a set menu of 3/4 choices for each course. The room was just the right size and overlooking the river. It was a hot evening and the windows were open making it all very pleasant. We had one main waiter allocated to our party with occasional assistance from a waitress. His... More
