Thought it would be lovely to treat my daughter to some lunch on her birthday whilst we were in central london..... The authentic loooking lamps and atmosphere was just what I had in mind.... Our starter of little cheese boreks looked promising...as we chatted away waiting for our main course..we'd anticipated a delicious mixed grill...what seemed like an eternity of... More

I have been to the Grand Bazaar a few times and thought it was about time I submitted a short review. I recently went to the restaurant with my son, we both ordered the Balloon Bread and the Grand Bazaar Special Kebab, which was excellent. We requested water as a drink and we were immediately asked if we wanted tap... More

Amazing Lebanese, but that's my opinion based on a city with loads of Lebanese restaurants. I had the Kofte platter that comes with bread, rice, salad 13.95, huge and worth every penny. I asked for chili sauce on the side, awesome. Restaurant is extremely charming but tables too small and too close to each other with each having a selection... More

I love this place. It's always busy and the staff are relentless in there attentive, polite service with a smile. We were a table of 8, so no mean feat to keep up with. As long as you are prepared for food to come out when it's ready, you will not be disappointed. The lamb hummus and balloon bread is... More

Set amongts a pleasant mix of reataurants just off Oxford Street. Pleasant surroundings and friendly service. Lunchtime special is good value too. Recommended option when looking for a cosy lunch and break from the crowds.

We always tend to visit Grand Bazaar when in London and usually have the meat meze. It never disappoints and is great to share. The place itself is very cosy and the staff very efficient and friendly. The prices are very reasonable with a bottle of house wine being £15.50. The restaurant is located at James Street which is just... More

I am always up to a Turkish restaurant, You just can't go wrong with it. I went to Grand Bazaar with a friend of mine. We ordered wine leaves and kind of cheese "sambusek" as a starter with a bottle of their turkish white wine. All was great, especially the wine! Very light, easy to pour and full of with... More

I ate here mid week recently after a couple of business meetings nearby. I love St Christopher's Place and the mix of shops, pubs and restaurants. I chose Grand Bazaar as it always looks busy and unless I'm wrong, is an independently run eaterie. I also love Turkish food. This didn't let me down and I had a great meal,... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
