Must try

It is a proper Turkish restaurant with its decoration, atmosphere, friendly staff and food. It's located in a busy street but worth to visit this authentic restaurant. I ordered kofte but had tried lamb and chicken shish as well. They were all tasty. Not overpriced for the quality. Recommended!

If you would like to see real Turkish foods than have a visit there. Chef maid Mr. Hayrullah will do his best for you. I'm a chilly peper fun and they have the best one. On thr other hand starters and main courses are also fantastic. We tryed meats and they were the same in Istanbul restaurants. We couldn't complain... More

The food was average but the staff were stressed unwelcoming and did not smile at all.No supporse the manager was exactly the same . When our food order was not huge we felt like the Manager was processing us, then they take the liberty of adding a service charge on the bill. Gratitude's are at the discretion of the customer... This restaurant is one of the prettiest I have ever seen with the lovely bright coloured lamps. It really did conjure up the feeling of being in a Turkish Bazaar. The food was delicious and there was a good choice for non meat eaters. The location was very central near Bond Street and Oxford Street. I would definitely go there... More

The staff here were rude, none attentive and the place is hugely understaffed on a weekend. The place was very packed on a Saturday and only had one guy main waiter who seemed highly stressed. The girl waiter was very rude. When asked if I could remove the service charge which was already added to my bill I was greeted... More

We had a leisurely Lunch last weekend. The white wine was superb and matched well with the food. We had the 2 course lunch menu which was very good value. Try the home made bread with dips and olives, really delicious. Would go back again

A friend introduced me to the Grand Bazaar restaurant and I've returned on every visit to London since. The food is very good, not too spicy and very reasonably priced for central London. Lunch for three adults with drinks was £80.

Very good Turkish decor Service was very efficient Incik lamb generous but cold. When it came it steaming hot only to realise that a hot gravy was poured. Some of the peppers were hot and some were cold so not sure what happened there. It was ok and was hungry so didn't bother to return it. Rice was very good... More

Visited off peak early lunch. Service attentive to a fault. Hovering and hassling waiter left me hardly any time to relax and enjoy the large meze platter I ordered. Food a mixed bag quality-wise. Mostly mushy and bland. Hummus nothing special, poor falafel. Balloon bread nice and fresh though it is poor not to include bread with a large mixed... More

I love lebaneese food thats why we went to this place, which is located right in the centre close to the Bond stree underground station. There was good lunch offer, where we could take started and main course for 9.95. We didnt wait a lot and waitress that served us was friendly. Food was great, and in the end we... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
