Good choice for Indostani food

Best curry house in the Whitechapel/Bricklane area. Nice and tasty selection of dishes, also the desserts are great. Being able to bring your own alcohol is a big plus, but the service is... I already had feedback that its very busy and jam pack restaurant but food is average. I have found it exactly that way when I visited it two afternoons before. There is no restaurant parking which is acceptable. The furnishing inside is so tacky. It seems like they are not bothered for interior designing as they have good customer numbers.... More

It was so noisy that we couldn't talk. We ordered the food and everything was delivered at once in fact some of the starters came after we had started on the mains. The food was all too spicy for our liking and they couldn't tone it down. Luckily we had cash to pay because their credit card machine was broken... More

Fantastic atmosphere. Food is amazing - lamb chops and dry meat are highly recommended. Luckily we had a booking so could skip most of the queue! BYO with no corkage and such good value !

I have been a number of times with different groups of friends, and the food has always been terrific. It is sufficiently varied for people who enjoy different levels of spice, and is great value for money. The only complaints would be that it takes a very long time to get seated, even with a reservation, and that the service... More

I was so looking forward to eating at this restaurant. We were seated and soon had our order taken.. The starter arrived quickly and was ok. While we were still eating the main meal arrived onto our crowed table. Two main meals were good, the lamb and the chicken, but the veggie dish and of more concern the prawn dish... More

I have been coming to the restaurant for years, it is getting bigger and better over time in my opinion. The chops, Kebabs and Tika to start are great and the dry meats are a total winner. Service always good and I am typically with work but have been with my young kids who loved it! Just remember beers en... More

Despite booking it was a bit chaotic in here but it is super popular and the wait was worth it. There was loads of food, all of it really delicious (especially the lamb chops) and the serving staff were really patient considering we were a bunch of girls fuelled with Prosecco! At only £14 per head it was amazing value.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighborhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
