This is a great place - independent and quirky. Menu is extensive. Excellent choices for veggies. It can get quite noisy but that is part of the charm. The staff are charming and handsome. Book early - Sunday lunch yummy

My friends stayed at one of the 4 rooms there. The food was good and the portions were great. The wait staff very friendly. We loved the honey Dew Beer. Best Tube station is Kings Cross and St. Pancres.

The Harrison, in Harrison Street, Bloomsbury is a great local pub. Absolutely packed most evenings. It is advisable to book in advance if you want to sit on the comfortable sofas in their snug. Their fish and chips was very good and the draught Doom Bar ale from Cornwall was a revelation. Great place to drop in.

We were trying to find somewhere that served Sunday roast in the evening (we Aussies have ours at dinner time) and found that The Harrison served till late. We ordered one of each kind of roast, beef, chicken and my favorite lamb! Beautiful, big meals. Great service and live music was on while we were there. Great vibe!

Let me start by saying we were there for the Sunday carving menu and the place was full of local regulars who seemed happy. That said we didn't have a great experience. We got both the chicken and beef and both seemed over cooked and tasteless with the same sauce all over the meat and vegetables. We didn't enjoy it... More

I walk pass this pub on way to work and popped in for a drink. The bar is well decorated, with plenty of tables. It is clean and bright. The menu looked good and the tables had been reserved so it looks like it gets busy (it was Friday about 5pm). The range of drinks was good and my cider... More

A popular, open-plan pub serving a wide selection of British and imported beers to accompany a decent pub menu. Friendly service.

Liked the Harrison and the atmosphere. Sunday roasts are good, would be even better with more spuds! Nice wine list and easy-going staff who do what they can to make you happy. Liked the experience and also the desserts

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
