Angus Steakhouse is the original chain of steak restaurants based in central London's West End and has been serving both Londoners and visitors alike for over half a century. Indeed, today, you will still find many Angus Steakhouses in the centre of London, serving delicious food to all who walk through its doors. Angus Steakhouse has a long and proud heritage which stretches back to the 1960s when it could often be found in the Good Food Guide. Founded by Sir Reginald Eastwood, Angus Steakhouse aimed to deliver tender, quality steak and friendly, attentive service right from the start. And today, fifty years on, those values remain the same. With over 50 years of heritage serving premium quality steak, each Angus Steakhouse also offers a traditional menu including fish, chicken and a variety of vegetarian sides. And at Angus, we are committed to providing high quality food to London and its visitors for years to come. After 50 years, Angus Steakhouse has become a landmark in its own right. And we're still where it all began, set in the heart of London and offering excellent food. Angus Steakhouse restaurants are the perfect place for dining in the West End.

The food tasted good but my partner and I were on edge the whole time we we're there due to an overly familiar member of staff - our waiter! We didn't notice what he was like until we ordered and then felt stuck there! He took phones off customers to take pictures, he took sunglasses off customers to try on,... More

The restaurant was very crowded with great ambience. The steak was great, I ordered 16 oz T-bone with medium cook and they just delivered the best one. The staff were also friendly, checking our conditions frequently and very helpful. The price was reasonable.

The food was satisfactory and we have nothing much to complain. But best of all, we had excellent service from Dilek, the waitress as she was attentive to us. Kudos to Angus Steakhouse for paying attention to us diners and recommendation of steaks when we are unsure of what to order.

Love the food and the staff is so friendly and good at their job! We ate their several times during our stay since they cook the meat really nicely and to perfection. Try the fillet, I highly recommend it and their nachos plate!

Very good food, good beer too and we were very well attended. My only complaint is about the price, since we were four persons, and ate a starter and shared two Meat dishes, and four three beers and one water, we paid 105 pounds for the meal... that was the most expensive dinner we had in our trip in the... My partner and I had a red meat craving and decided to try this out. The service was pretty slow and the meat was ok, but nothing special I'm afraid. The side dishes lacked finesse. I think we could have done better in a local pub for the same price.

Steak (8oz 26£) burnt and dry. Same the chicken. Service unfriendly. Had to pay extra for everything , even for the butter on the corn.

The service was impeccable. The staff was so attentive and the food was beautiful. They cater for people who are going to the theatre a lot so service is very prompt. We we serviced by a lovely man called Fikret

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
