Angus Steakhouse is the original chain of steak restaurants based in central London's West End and has been serving both Londoners and visitors alike for over half a century. Indeed, today, you will still find many Angus Steakhouses in the centre of London, serving delicious food to all who walk through its doors. Angus Steakhouse has a long and proud heritage which stretches back to the 1960s when it could often be found in the Good Food Guide. Founded by Sir Reginald Eastwood, Angus Steakhouse aimed to deliver tender, quality steak and friendly, attentive service right from the start. And today, fifty years on, those values remain the same. With over 50 years of heritage serving premium quality steak, each Angus Steakhouse also offers a traditional menu including fish, chicken and a variety of vegetarian sides. And at Angus, we are committed to providing high quality food to London and its visitors for years to come. After 50 years, Angus Steakhouse has become a landmark in its own right. And we're still where it all began, set in the heart of London and offering excellent food. Angus Steakhouse restaurants are the perfect place for dining in the West End.

Great food

Went while visiting London with my mum. We both had the hanging skewer with sweet potato fries. It was delicious and the portion was a good size, we finished everything without feeling too full. Our waitress Ang was lovely and very helpful and made our visit! Thank you!

Greeted by most friendly hostess, served by the most friendly waiter. Food was delicious, best, most succulent barbecue spare- ribs served in London. The manager is great!

For twin granddaughters 18th celebrations, 16 of us went to see "Wicked" followed by an excellent celebration meal at this Angus Steak House. We were greeted warmly, led to our table and the waiters were very attentive. There was a wide choice of food, something to please everyone, and it was served promptly and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was... More

Quick efficient service and a great menu choice. The steaks were a little pricey, so we opted for other dishes. The food was very quick to arrive (almost too quick!) but was hot, tasty and certainly left us with no room for dessert.

In the heart of the Theatre District. Very good food. Steaks come w/ half grilled tomato and few salad greens so be prepared to order sides, salads, breads, etc separately. Staff was fine, service nice. Was about 30 pounds cost for steak dinner with an adult beverage .

We wanted a venue where we could celebrate the 18th birthday of our twin granddaughters and not knowing London booked the restaurant as they advertised that they catered for large parties. There were eighteen of us ranging through three generations with adventurous eaters and faddy eaters. The menu was varied and catered for us all. The staff could not have... More

Decided to eat here for ease more than anything else. We normally pre-book a table somewhere when visiting London but we decided to go with the flow this time as it was just my 7yo daughter and I. As there were only 2 of us we were seated quickly be it at a table 30cm away from the neighbouring table.... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
