Angus Steakhouse is the original chain of steak restaurants based in central London's West End and has been serving both Londoners and visitors alike for over half a century. Indeed, today, you will still find many Angus Steakhouses in the centre of London, serving delicious food to all who walk through its doors. Angus Steakhouse has a long and proud heritage which stretches back to the 1960s when it could often be found in the Good Food Guide. Founded by Sir Reginald Eastwood, Angus Steakhouse aimed to deliver tender, quality steak and friendly, attentive service right from the start. And today, fifty years on, those values remain the same. With over 50 years of heritage serving premium quality steak, each Angus Steakhouse also offers a traditional menu including fish, chicken and a variety of vegetarian sides. And at Angus, we are committed to providing high quality food to London and its visitors for years to come. After 50 years, Angus Steakhouse has become a landmark in its own right. And we're still where it all began, set in the heart of London and offering excellent food. Angus Steakhouse restaurants are the perfect place for dining in the West End.

Not impressed.

The place is centrally located at Covent Garden area, so you can expect to have a pricey lunch or dinner. My steak was well done cooked, but the taste was not what I expected and the meat was hard to chew. I have tried same type of steak in other restaurants and it was far better. The ribs though... read more

40 degrees inside. Felt like I was in a hotbox! The meat was good, but my fries was tasteless and soggy. The salad was dreadful.

Visited sunday 28 June in the evening. 2 of us visited this Angus Steakhouse. We were sat down immediately and given menus. We knew it was pricey but we wanted to treat ourselves as we're big steak fans. We both ordered a fillet steak, one cooked medium, the other medium-rare. Our waiter stated that the steaks came with salad, and... More

Not cheap but really good meal. Went with a mate and we both had large steaks and a range of sides (OK so there were so many they had to get another table!) including mushy peas, fries, boiled spuds, mushrooms and corn. Steak was really well cooked as werecall the sides. 170 pounds in total so not somewhere to go... More

We've been to Angus steakhouse at Piccadilly Circus, and we were very disapoited with it. It's too overpriced for the quality of food they serve and to top it all off they charged us £1 for each seat!! I've never in my whole life had to pay for the seat at the restaurant. I mean what do you expect us... More

I've been here with my family for a dinner. Everyone was really pleased about the meal and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. Dilek's been really kind and friendly and provided us a great evening. I'll come back and I'll recommend the site for sure.

If you are thinking about going to angus restaurant , you had better hope it's your lucky day because the steak isn't always good and of course you have to have time as your food comes in 45 min. But the service was amazing . The waiters were very friendly and smiley.

Far from the best steak I've ever had but it hit the spot. I was able to walk right in and be seated. Nothing negative just average.

We happened to be passing on the way to a show so decided to stop here. No issues getting a window seat upstairs, friendly and helpful staff. Great choice on the menu, you didn't have to have steak there was plenty of other food to pick from. The food arrived pretty quick and there was enough of it to fill... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
