Angus Steakhouse is the original chain of steak restaurants based in central London's West End and has been serving both Londoners and visitors alike for over half a century. Indeed, today, you will still find many Angus Steakhouses in the centre of London, serving delicious food to all who walk through its doors. Angus Steakhouse has a long and proud heritage which stretches back to the 1960s when it could often be found in the Good Food Guide. Founded by Sir Reginald Eastwood, Angus Steakhouse aimed to deliver tender, quality steak and friendly, attentive service right from the start. And today, fifty years on, those values remain the same. With over 50 years of heritage serving premium quality steak, each Angus Steakhouse also offers a traditional menu including fish, chicken and a variety of vegetarian sides. And at Angus, we are committed to providing high quality food to London and its visitors for years to come. After 50 years, Angus Steakhouse has become a landmark in its own right. And we're still where it all began, set in the heart of London and offering excellent food. Angus Steakhouse restaurants are the perfect place for dining in the West End.

Nice

Went here on a lads weekend. Thought it was very nice. Obviously pretty expensive, like everything else in London. Would definitely go again on my next visit.

Nice food, very attentive staff, but so overpriced. Paid over £60.00 for a meal (main only) for two adults and one child - and we all left hungry!!!

I truly can not believe the good reviews. I was very disappointed by this restaurant. I ordered a medium rare filet steak and it came almost well done, completely dry and tasteless! My friend ordered well done and hers was burnt. Side dishes (sweet potato fries and nachos) were soaked in oil and were smelling of old bitter frying oil.... More

Booked weeks ahead for a 70th birthday lunch/dinner. when we arrived we were shown downstairs to the table right next to the kitchen and stairs to a further kitchen area. We arrived at 5 minutes to 3 and the waiter (who was trying) took our drink and food order. I had a 13 year old with us and right next... More

My sister and I visited in September 2015 and we had a lovely meal. My steak was cooked perfectly. The only downside is that the toilets are quite unsatisfactory. I've been to this particular branch twice and both times the ladies has been really messy with a lack of toilet roll and/or hand soap.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
