Excellent Japanese Food

I eat here on a weekly basis as it's super quick for lunch. The curry laksa and tom yum noodles are to die for and are always hot and too a high standard. Have never ever been disappointed!

At the Hare and Tortoise, you can find a fusion of several asian cusines, mainly Japanese, Mal;aysian, thai. The miso soup is deliciouse, the sushi selection is great, as well, as rolls and salads. The place is crowded and it's also popular with the Asians , which tells something about the quality of food. The service is efficient.

i have been missing probably the best noodle bar since giving up working in the Bloomsbury area but had a chance to visit for a late lunch. It is as good as ever and the choice of food has increased but not to the detriment of the taste, flavour or service of this wonderful restaurant and what's more the price... More

Came here with my boyfriend (upon his recommendation) to try the Malaysian dishes - he had curry laksa and I had Penang Prawn Mee. I was very impressed! Both dishes were very tasty, and tasted authentic enough. Needless to say, it is not 100% like what you'd get at home, but considering that they 'adapted' the dish to suit local... More

Was there for dinner this February. The menu had a large variety of sides and main dishes from all over Asia. Had a tuna tataki and a few tempura dishes which where all well cooked. Had the curry ramen for main, this dish is for hot food pros, and was very good.

This restaurant successfully fused malaysian and japanese food together and come out in an authentic taste by itself. Price is reasonable and the portion is big!

Great Asian food at the restaurant. My son had Japanese, I had Malaysian and my husband had noodles. All were excellent. Service is very good and efficient (which was good because we wanted a quick lunch). We were in London for a conference and ended up eating there or getting takeaway several times during our stay and it was always... More

I work just around the corner from this place and so have visited this restaurant probably over 10 times now. Me and my work colleagues go here for special occasion lunches every now and again or for catch ups. My boyfriend meets me from work sometimes just so we can go and eat here! It's great little place with delicious... More

I went here today for the first time ever and I just loved it. The menu is simple and straightforward and super yummy. I had the roast duck that was served with hot sushi rice, pak-choi and some sort of sauce and as well I'd ordered salmon sashimi, endame and miso soup. (I was super hungry!) Anyway, for sure will...
