The concierge at our hotel recommended this pub. Very quiet neighborhood and a great little pub. Of all the pubs I went to in London, I think this was my favorite.

Located in between High Street Kensington and Gloucester Road stations, this is a great place for drinks if you are a smoker. Offering several tables and benches for smokers and those who loved the outdoor, this cute neighbourhood pub also offers some great finger food. We found it tough to find pubs in london that offers outdoor sitting and this... More

Terrific atmosphere busy friendly a bit chaotic a good local watering hole. Good pub food but don't expect a gourmet experience. A good night out.

I booked The Builders Arms for a family dinner (10 of us) with over a weeks notice. When we went to order our meals (8.15), two of the dishes had already gone, so we reordered. Only to be told 10 mins later that another three items had gone off the menu...leaving less than 50% of the menu left. They knew... More

Haven't been for a meal for a couple of years. Was very disappointed with the standard of the meal compared to past meals. A selection of starters were relatively bland, and the main courses didn't wow either. My burger was quite good but my wife's rib eye steak was thin and gristly with well overdone chips

Everyone understands how important it is to find a drinking hole near work that served good drinks, pleasant and not too crowded. This is exactly what we find here at the builders arms. Tucked away off Kensington high street, you are far enough for your mind to be away from work and enjoy the classic pub interior and not having... More

Grabbed a between-Prom-concerts dinner here with friends who had booked ahead. From a distance it looked as though we might not even get through the door let alone find our table. The place was absolutely heaving with glamorous trendy young things all operating at maximum volume. However, our table was ready and reserved and the food we ordered arrived very... More

Promising start: arrived to find a pleasant table had been reserved with our name on it; and the starter of mushrooms in a stilton creamy sauce on toast was rather good. However the first choice of mains had sold out at lunchtime we were informed; the alternatives chosen, salmon fish cakes, paprika potato wedges & coleslaw, and southern fried chicken... More

Had late lunch with my family here yesterday. Biked from Hyde Park. Lovely neighborhood setting. Very quiet and relatively remote setting for central London. Pub was first class all the way around. Setting, service, drink, food all first rate. If you like London pubs this is a must try and a perfect place to bring out of tone visitors for... More

I went here yesterday for a friend's birthday. It was such a cute place and I never knew it existed. We sat upstairs and there was a lot of seating. If I lived closer I would come here more often. Unlike some of the other reviews we had great service. They even handed out mini Bloody Mary's to try on... More
