I visited Chettinad for dinner with my family and came away with a memorable culinary experience. The food was true to the classic Chettinad traditions and was accompanied with some great service. Jey A who served was a treat and really helped in making the meal memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited Chettinad after spending a gruelling but fabulous day in Soho. Using TripAdvisor, I came across Chettinad. With no reservation, we tried our luck...We were pleasantly greeted by Motin who so kindly provided us with a table. The friendly and efficient service continued and the food was divine. What a fabulous way to end our day out!! Many, many... More

I often have Dosa when I go back in Sri Lanka and I can assure you that the Masala Dosa I had here is just as good! The staff is really friendly and efficient, especially Manager Jey. Service is excellent with food being served quickly. The design of the place is sophisticated but at the same time the atmosphere is... More

I had one night in London staying near St Pancras. I fancied a curry and this was the top hit nearby. 25 min walk was worth the effort (I got the tube back!). Great service (thanks Jey) but even better was the food. Very nice pickles and sauces and lovely lamb madras. The place was very busy on Tuesday night.... More

I'm staying in London on business for a couple of days and I fancied a curry today. So I found Chettinad on Trip Advisor and as it was close to my hotel I thought I'd give it a go. Its not your standard curry house as they specialise in southern Indian cuisine so I wasn't quite sure what to expect.... More

I had enjoyed Chettinad cooking at the Woodland Restaurant, Muscat, Oman and wanted to try it again. The Chettinad Restaurant in Percy Street certainly lived up to expectations. Deliciously spiced food, courteously served under the eye of the head waiter Motin. I will definitely go again.

Chettinad truly lived upto it's name and the food served there was almost as authentic as the South Indian version of it . We had visited the restaurant couple of times during our stay in london and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The kozhi melagu varuval , biriyanis and the thali's were simply outstanding without burning a hole in your pocket.... More
