Description: Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.

Booked this restaurant before going to a show, if you want to dine here suggest you book as the place was very busy. Service was attentive unfortunately we were brought some one else's food twice. This was quickly sorted out and as stated they were busy. My wife had salmon fish cakes they were delicious, I had the mussels which... More

We organised to have a graduation dinner here with friends and family. Boulevard was very helpful in providing us with the upstairs of the restaurant to accommodate around 22 guests. The meal was fantastic, the service was friendly, polite and made the evening. A special thanks to Abdel and Santi who provided exceptional service. We really enjoyed our meal here... More

A friend and I had a pre theatre dinner here. It resembles a French cafe, no table cloths, paper napkins and cutlery on the napkin. Having said that, our waiter was extremely helpful and amiable. We each started with a different salad which was very good, but I required additional dressing. I asked for balsamic vinegar and a different waiter... More

I only booked this quite late the night before through one of the table booking agencies and received the usual confirmation email that night, which I printed off to take with me. I had booked for 5.30pm as a pre-theatre meal with a friend. I received a phone call to confirm the booking during the day, which was good. When... More

I was treated to a Father's day lunch here. The food, service and ambience were all excellent. Gabriel, our water, was the epitomy of charm and efficiency. Difficult to fault the whole experience.

Booked pre-theatre dinner and was pleased as dining rooms soon filled up with diners. Set menu had as expected limited choice but I thoroughly enjoyed spinach soup and companion relished smoked salmon. Only negative point was dry french bread but it was hot and late in the day! Main courses of pork chop and steak were both excellent with accompanying... More

We booked Boulevard Brasserie before going to Aldwych theatre but we were not expecting anything that much bearing in mind the number of quite average places around there. We were surprised, therefore, by the quality of the service (excellent) and food. We received a phone call that morning to confirm our booking and to find out whether we were going... More

When booking a show at The Royal Opera House for my wife's 40th, I thought it would be nice to have a meal there beforehand so made a reservation. On arriving at The Royal Opera House, we were told that the restaurant was closed and that they had no record of my booking, notwithstanding the written confirmation I had taken... More

A classic French bistro with comfort food in a great Covent Garden location. Friendly and fun staff. Ask to sit upstairs near the french doors that open to a Juliette balcony.
