Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. Having abandoned Belgo after a frankly disastrous experience we came to the place we should have gone first, and it was as brilliant as it's always been. Charming front of house. Delightful waitress. The youngest demolished half a chicken and frites and homemade lemonade. Eldest loved her boeuf bourguignon with mash and her passion fruit juice. My seafood linguini was... More

My family met for a pre theatre birthday treat for my Mum and Aunty yesterday and my Mother became ill. You were all absolutely amazing. Thank you for your kindness and concern and the delicious food. You really looked after us and we can't thank you enough for calling an ambulance and taking care of us so well. Many thanks... More

What we liked were the waitress and her service. What we didn't like was that it was hot and stuffy, although the manager did come to apologise for that. We didn't like the food, which was definitely trying to get by on quantity rather than quality. Tables were also too close to each other.

We went for a meal here on our way to the Savoy Theatre. We had the 2 course option of a starter , main and a glass of Kir Royale all for only £17.50 a head! The restaurant was very busy but we were seated quickly and offered our drinks straight away. One of our party is a Coeliac and... More

We took advantage of a Bookatable offer which gave us a 3 course pre-theatre set menu and kir royale cocktail for £22.50. Any worries that the quality would be compromised were soon vanished when the food arived. Flavoursome, well cooked and well presented. The staff were attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere was good too (we dined downstairs). We... More

My second time back! The waiters there always give you the biggest one could possibly get in London and the food is of fresh and of amazing quality. They do have daily specials which always keep you smiling and surprised and the wine list is very decently priced. Dishes can be on salty side, especially the onion soup, but I... More

Visited on Saturday evening with friends. Service and food were both brilliant. Chateaubriand is to be recommended.

What a lovely little restaurant! We booked to eat here before going to the theatre and it was really really good! We weren't sure at first … but they sat us upstairs by the window which was just such a lovely view - it was gorgeous and we really loved it. Felt like we really were on holiday! The service...
