Description: Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.

Covent Garden can be a bit of a tourist trap but Boulevard Brasserie was a nice place to visit with friends. Warm, clean and well decorated with classic French music for accompaniment I was impressed immediately. we did not eat here as we wanted to come in for a drink and the wines were excellent. The Rioja Reservation Gavanza Tempranillo... More

My friend Lesley and I hadn't seen each other for a year so there was a lot of catching up to do. We chose Boulevard Brasserie in Covent Garden to do it. I'd been dragging a small suitcase around London so was delighted when we were greeted warmly and the waiter offered to stash it safely for me. There are... More

We have eaten several times at this restaurant and always had a good meal. However, on Saturday night we got stuck in very heavy traffic travelling by bus. I phoned the restaurant to say we were delayed (I'd booked earlier in the week) and eventually arrived 25 minutes late. We had theatre tickets so I said to the maitre d'... More

The quality over all was good. A good french brasserie should provide bread at the start of the meal, this one unfortunately did not however the starters were lovely, chicken liver pate and pork and duck terrine, had to ask for butter for the toast but that is a personal preference. The price was reasonable, take your taste card and... More

We were a party of eight for lunch a couple of weeks ago and everybody enjoyed the food. The service was perhaps a little on the slow side but it didnt matter as we were not in a hurry. From memory we left around 3.45... Good value for money and decent French grub. We would return.

We came across this Brasserie in Covent Garden and were not disappointed. Many of the tables seemed quite cramped but we had an excellent seat just at the top of the stairs. The food was tasty and plentiful and we felt reasonably priced for the location. It was our friends birthday and our wedding anniversary so we were given complimentary... More

I'd been to the restaurant for a pre-theatre meal two years ago and remembered it as being really nice, with good food and prompt service, so decided to book it again for another pre-theatre meal. We unfortunately arrived a little later than planned due to travel problems, but our table (a really nice one in the window) was still available.... More

this place will suit you! Small portion (half what I would have reasonably expected at the price). Slow and sleepy service (if you have pasta, you shouldn't have to ask for Parmesan, it should be offered as a matter of course). Won't be going back in a hurry, I'm afraid!
