Description: Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.

Pretty average little restaurant in a bustling part of town. Few restrictions to 50% food discount....result!!!! Wrong! Average starter. Big gap between starter and mains. Watch for the many broken shells in the seafood linguine. You will crack a tooth for sure. Service is average. 6 of us paid approx £28 after discount and including service. Shouldn't complain at price... More

We booked through Open Table and that was good - they rang that morning to double check the reservation. Our table was ready and we were seated in the cosy downstairs part of the restaurant. And there the good ended. We were having the pre-theatre menu, and our waiter required us to order our dessert at the same time as... More

My partner and I went here for our anniversary, and we were kindly greeted with a cocktail on the house. The main restaurant area is downstairs and the brick lined walls with candles placed in many corners give a lovely atmosphere to accompany the meal. The food is delicious and appears to be prepared with great care. The menu includes... More

We visited the restaurant early evening & chose the pre-theatre menu. The service was excellent & the ambiance & decor of the restaurant very reminiscent of a French bistro. We chose the house red, which was excellent for both temperature & taste. The pre-theatre menu is limited to 4 choices per course, 1 of which has a supplement. We both... More

The waiter was awful as rushing everywhere and no manner. We try to get attention to order as nobody come to ask if we are ready or not for LONG time...Food was just ok with no presentation. We are not going back!

I visited this restaurant with 9 girlfriends for a reunion lunch. We had booked as a group and as such were given the party menu (£24.95 for 2 courses, £27.50 for 3) We started with a kir royale which was included in the price. The starters were fine, particularly the brie in filo pastry. However, several of the main courses... More

On a busy (and cold) evening my companion and I enjoyed a pre- theatre dinner, five minutes from Leicester Square. We chose the special pre-theatre menu and found the food and the value for money excellent. My soup was thick, hot and plentiful and the boeuf bourguignon tasty. My companion chose the salmon dish and was equally happy. We also shared... More

We were squeezed in at the last minute on a busy Saturday evening. The food was brilliant. Would highly recommend the pan fried duck breast with dauphinoise potatoes, squash & peppercorn sauce! Great attention to detail amongst waiting staff, very continental.

Visited prior to going to Covent Garden for a Ballet. As this Brasserie is in Covent Garden it is one of many places to eat in that area - the choice is huge. The food was good, well, prepared and presented, as you would expect. The service however was very good, we had booked the table as a pre-theatre meal... More
