Description: Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.

We visited this restaurant for dinner on a very busy Saturday eve as part of a girls weekend away, and to celebrate a birthday. We were seated near the open window which on a very hot eve was very welcome! The service began with a smile and the food and cocktails were beautiful! But the reason for writing this review... More

My wife and I visited Boulevard Brasserie on a Saturday at 18:00 and were shown to a comfortable table near the open window but not right on the street – airy but not overlooked. The tables are well spaced so you do not feel cramped. We shared mussels to start which had a wonderful thick and tasty sauce. For main... More

I have to say the service in this restaurant was brilliant. Fernando was very attentive and really looked after us. We had the set menu pre theatre and it was lovely, very polite staff and couldn't rate it high enough. Well done all especially Fernando

I loved this place. Excellent service, delicious food. I had brie in filo pastry, followed by steak frites and a banoffee pie to finish. Would definitely go back.

The mediterranean fish soup was delicious, as were the prawns in garlic butter with fries. It was pleasant sitting in the (open) window, although there are better views in London. The service nearly cost this review a star. It was a bit surly, and a tip was added before taking off our discount offer. So the percentage rate was over... More

Excellent meal good ambience and very attentive service from Gabriele. He chose the correct wine for me and took our order promptly. We had foie gras and chicken liver parfait for starters and minute steak with fries and béarnaise sauce and roast salmon filet with crushed rosemary and garlic new potatoes and hollandaise sauce for the main courses. These were... More

We organised to have a graduation dinner here with friends and family. Boulevard was very helpful in providing us with the upstairs of the restaurant to accommodate around 22 guests. The meal was fantastic, the service was friendly, polite and made the evening. A special thanks to Abdel and Santi who provided exceptional service. We really enjoyed our meal here... More

A friend and I had a pre theatre dinner here. It resembles a French cafe, no table cloths, paper napkins and cutlery on the napkin. Having said that, our waiter was extremely helpful and amiable. We each started with a different salad which was very good, but I required additional dressing. I asked for balsamic vinegar and a different waiter... More

I only booked this quite late the night before through one of the table booking agencies and received the usual confirmation email that night, which I printed off to take with me. I had booked for 5.30pm as a pre-theatre meal with a friend. I received a phone call to confirm the booking during the day, which was good. When... More
