Description: Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on...
Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.

Speedy Gonzalez needs an extra week on holiday

Restaurant had too few waiting staff, couldn't deliver 3 course meal on time for theatre. Speedy Gonzalez worked extremely hard given the circumstances and the restaurant should hire more staff like him during peak hours

The tuna steak was cooked a beautiful blood red, and the texture was a joy on the palate. My girlfriend had the salmon, which was cooked well, but the sauce made it heavier than desirable. We decided to order both the Pot au Chocolat and the Strawberry Cheesecake, both of which were excellent. The chocolate was rich, and the lemon... More

I have eaten here several tines over the past 10 years - the staff have been unfailingly charming, friendly and helpful, particularly Carnen last week! The fish soup is terrific , the duck confit, plat du jour , was excellent too. The pre theatre menu at £ 13.95 for 2 courses is great value and good, with prices still fair... More

Made a reservation for a very nice pre-fixe dinner before a show. Ambience was lovely, staff was friendly and the food was great.

Boeuf bourginon & cod & chips were faultless! Trainee waitress (from Lithouania) was very helpful, cheerful & provided excellent service/recommendations. Good atmosphere too.

Visited on Saturday 27th before the Opera. The restaurant could have been in Paris as it had that bustling atmosphere coupled with quality professional service and excellent food. My wife and I chose off the main menu although we could have had the pre-theatre menu with a glass of Kir Royale. People on the next table had this menu and... More

In September 2014 after flying in from Los Angeles and checking into the ME hotel on the Strand we walked up Wellington and discovered this fine restaurant. We were so impressed with the atmosphere, the friendly and efficient staff, and the wonderful food that we came back on 18-June, 2015 again, after a long flight. Special thanks to Albert for... Booked this through Bookatable app - three course meal with a Champagne cocktail for £22.50 per head - throughout all the staff were really helpful and pleasant - our waiter in particular "Speedy Gonzales" was absolutely superb and made the meal special - quality of food was great - all courses - the restaurant is near to the centre of... We wanted an early meal after watching a theatre matinee and booked a set menu meal here in advance.Plenty of choice ,good quality-preceded with a champagne cocktail as part of the deal.Staff extremely efficient but friendly and relaxed-a special mention for speedy gonzales.Given the difficulty of finding value and quality on spec I thoroughly recommend booking here if visiting the... My wife and I booked a table, after a matinee theatre performance locally, for our 25th Wedding Anniversary dinner. It was good value for money as was the wine, excellent service (from Aleksandra) and the rump of lamb Tuesday special main was perfection. The Goats Cheese Salad starter and Eton Mess dessert were also delicious. We will definitely go again... More
