Description: Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on...
Boulevard Brasserie, one of Covent Garden's iconic fixtures, situated on the Opera Quarter on Wellington Street, has recently completed a refurbishment. A typical French brasserie with a menu featuring classic, uncomplicated French cuisine to include bouef bourguignon, moules mariniere, steak frites and delicious tartines. Set over two floors, it is a bustling place where you can comfortably dine on your own, with friends and family or enjoy a more convivial occasion in a larger group. Simple cooking with good ingredients in an informal atmosphere - a French brasserie at its most authentic. A new feature to Boulevard Brasserie is the Boulevard Cellars - a cosy and intimate wine bar offering a wide range of delicious regional French wines and Champagne, a good selection French cheeses and charcuterie plates to complement all tastes.

Having spent some time at the James Bond exhibition we were hungry so crossed the road to this restaurant. There was plenty of choice on the menu. Waiters were courteous, Dealt very professionally with my wifes' allergy concerns. The food was good and well presented. But oh how brusque was the manager. She could have chilled the wine! Don't think I'd go again. There are lots of other places to choose!

Went here for a birthday lunch. It was excellent , staff were so friendly and welcoming . Even brought out our dessert with candles and sung happy birthday to us. Made us feel very special. We e mailed ahead and requested a window seat, which we got. Unable to fault the staff in any way, a great credit to this... More

We bought the set menu and didn't expect too much. But we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dishes and even more so with the quality or service from Sofiane. He was an absolute gentleman and made my partners birthday something to remember. We will do again.

Second visit and reception, food and ambiance just as good as the last time. Not quite the five stars of last visit as the light bites menu was not available (because of time eating) meaning I had to spend more money than expected! It would also be nice to see a few more French desserts on the menu eg ile... More

We had Chateaubriand here for my birthday (with extra king prawns, obviously) and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. We both took a bite and laughed out loud, it was so delicious. Staff were cheery, helpful, and put a candle in my creme brulee. It isn't super expensive and you can get deals on OpenTable.... More

Having booked via a Bookatable deal, I wasn't expected anything too fancy, but I was pleasantly surprised. We did come midweek, so it was very quiet, but the offer had an excellent menu with great choice. The service was very prompt - if not a little too much - my biggest gripe would be to please wait for all guests... More

We had a very good early supper here, very nice starter of watermelon, figs, hazlenuts and mint followed by some very good fresh fish. The service was helpful (my wife asked for a cushion for her bad back, they immediately brought her a whole new chair with firm upholstery as well as a cushion), prompt and warm from a very... More
