Great value and atmosphere

We had a lovely meal here. This a lovely restaurant housed an old dairy in an old part of London. We were served quickly and the food was delicious and hot. The facilities are excellent.

We went to pizza express because of great reviews here. We were disappointed. We ordered pizza and wanted the regular pizza. I pointed it to the waiter. He asked thin or thick, what actually meant roman or regular pizza. We thought thick was really thick, but that was the regular one. This roman pizza was more expensive than the regular... More

Really great quality pizza for the health conscious who like good taste...or the indulgent pizza lover. Everything tasted really fresh and of good quality. They make the pizza to order within eyeshot, so you know what you're getting.

Just around the corner from the British Museum, I was out voted three to one by the family on the choice of location for lunch. They were right, I was wrong, we had a very good lunch and all of us left there fully satisfied. This was despite my sons fiendish of pasta from the child's menu turning up barely... More

Had the menu deal and it was truly value for money. The pizza was perfect and the desert was a very nice chocolate cake, the bread sticks were OK, guess you can't make them any more than they are, bread sticks...

We went to this, which I think is the original Pizza Express, after a late opening evening at the British Museum, and were delighted with the atmosphere, quality of food (desserts especially wonderful), wine and service. Much the best of the Pizza Express restaurants we've been to.

OK, you know what you are going to get food-wise when you visit a Pizza Express restaurant. The pizzas are always consistently good and the New York Cheesecake is the best. This pizza chain is far superior to the others. The bottled Grand Reserva is far better with much more flavour than the Nastro Azzuro beer. As the food is... More

I am not a big pizza eater but my niece and nephew love this place. We had one veggie pizza (for me) 2 cheese and pepperoni (for everyone else) 4 drinks and the bill came to around 30 pounds with coupon (outrageous for US but normal for there). This was the second restaurant in the chain and in a historical... More

Very good pizza at all the numerous branches throughout the UK. This one is ultra-convenient for the British Museum. One of the very best of several pizza chains in the uk, some of which are truly abysmal.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
