Description: Barrafina is an authentic Spanish tapas bar located in London's Soho. It serves a traditional but contemporary, regional a la carte menu and there is a daily blackboard of specials, created by Executive Head Chef, Barragan Mohacho. Barrafina operates a first come first serve queuing system, and does not take reservations for their 23 stools. However, part of the fun of dining there is eating little bites and sipping on something delicious while making the line. The kitchen is open and guests are close to all the action and drama while their food is prepared.

Our real experience from Tapas comes from Barcelona but this place is pretty good too. Don't dare walk in 2 minutes before opening as you will be told they are not open. But soon as it is the staff although incredibly frantic are very friendly and great at what they do. We were entertained by the sheer perfectionism of the... More

Every time we come to London, we make it a must to visit Barrafina. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff are fun and friendly and there is always a great buzz about the place. The menu is fairly consistent, but there are always daily specials. The wine and whiskey selections are both great. We had a super... More

So if you get there a little late, the queues are long. But SO WHAT? Barrafina is worth it. The food is exquisite, the buzz around the kitchen, electric. The waiters are friendly, busy, chaotic and it's all part of the wonderful Barrafina experience. The plates are just big enough that you can order a large selection of dishes to... More

It can be a bit of an ordeal trying to get a seat here and note that it's limited to parties of four or less at the Frith Street branch and there were a few annoying moments before we managed to get seated. In short, you will NOT be seated and have to return to the queue if all your... More

I tried to eat here a few times but it is always so busy that I ended up leaving. Finally had meal here on my birthday. Arrived at 12:15 and had to wait 1h30 to get a seat. That said the food is unbelievable! Super fresh premium seafood, small but good wine list, superb tapas. I've tried many good tapas... More

Travelled all the way into town only to find the place closed and under renovation. Nothing about this was mentioned on the website. A complete disgrace and waste of my time.

Love this place! Food amazing & the staff are super efficient. The long Que to get in says it all. At the bar you get to mingle with new faces and exchange stories over drinks and amazing tapas. Get there early to avoid disappointment
