Description: Barrafina is an authentic Spanish tapas bar located in London's Soho. It serves a traditional but contemporary, regional a la carte menu and there is a daily blackboard of specials, created by Executive Head Chef, Barragan Mohacho. Barrafina operates a first come first serve queuing system, and does not take reservations for their 23 stools. However, part of the fun of dining there is eating little bites and sipping on something delicious while making the line. The kitchen is open and guests are close to all the action and drama while their food is prepared.

My new favourite restaurant in London! The food is simply fantastic! I definately over-ordered! Barrafina is a must visit for any tapas fan, you will be expected to queue but it is worth the wait.

After reading many reviews, I decided to go here. In the meantime, I have been twice this month. I had to do some shopping in Mayfair. As I like to go before the streets get too busy, I decided to go (together with my wife) to go early into town. As we were finished shopping around 11.15, we decided to... More

Seats 26 .At 11.55am there were 26 in the queue-never seen that before.7th visit.Excellent tapas especially sea bass and loin of pork.High level food and service as always. If you are in a group ALL of you have to be there or you won't be allowed in.Clearly more popular following its Michelin star win. Reliably superb.Treat yourself.

We only waited for like 20 mins and were offered a table outside, instead of the bar. Although we sat outside, it was warm and quieter than inside the restaurant. We had octopus, prawns and scallops; the food was amazing! The portion, however, was a bit too small, my friend and I were not having had enough even after finishing... More

My friend and I went 10 mins after noon and we waited for an hour to get a seat at the bar. While waiting we had a glass of wine and figs wrapped with prosciutto, which were delicious. Once seated, we had the opportunity to taste superb tapas in a very nice atmosphere. Genuinely friendly staff and amazing food makes... More

Wow what a find, after trawling the hit & miss tourist area we popped in here after unsuccessfully trying to find very late morning coffee for me, a glass of something stronger for him & some atmosphere for us both. The traditional Spanish bar serving area appealed, it was full despite being before midday but we only wanted a drink... More

Great food, attentive intimate service, worth the wait as the experience delivered. It's a no reservation policy restaurant and the narrow gangway and general bustle contributes to your excitement as you wait for 'your turn' at the counter. Knowledge staff, great people watching atmosphere and delicious food. Go. Now.

Recommended by a family member as a place to go when visiting London and we were not dissapointed!! We had heard about potential queues so arrived early, 5pm on a Monday so got a table immediately. By 5.30 people were queuing to get in so we did the right thing. At first it was almost intimidating as we didn't really... More
