Popped in here as a change from the usual. Very busy, with a lively atmosphere. Music provided by a piano player (which can be intrusive, but as he seemed to appreciate that he was there to complement, not take over, it worked well) and this was a nice touch. Decor is rather random but works but I did feel, as... More

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant, as the food was very good, but the dessert (fruit bowl) was extremely overpriced. For dinner, I ate the fettucini alfredo, and my husband ate one of the chicken specials. The service was a over-eager, but I guess that's better than being ignored. I wish we had skipped dessert, since... More

Group of 5 visited. Very strong smell of fish when we entered, no real concern with that as it may have been ordered a few times by the customers already in the place. We placed our order but as more and more customers were leaving, the stench from the toilets became very over-whelming. Complained to the waitress and the Manager... More

I walked in, not knowing anything about this place. But the sign outside offered a quick lunch, and that's exactly what I was after, having just arrived in London, starving, and wanting better than a sandwich. I was greeted warmly by the staff and my order was taken promptly. But this is where things go a bit awry. I asked... More

I was visiting London for a day/night, with my fiancée, and was looking for a reasonably priced (for London) restaurant within a short walking distance of our hotel. After having looked at the restaurants online menu, we decided that the Trattoria Verdi was what we were looking for. I made a reservation by phone on the previous evening with no... More

Good food, well cooked, excellent choice of wines, brilliant piano entertainment by Paulo and Katrina, very, very good service from the lady in charge - Dasha and Sara. One of the best restaurants in the area! Thank you all so much!

I came in here for a quick solo dinner as I'm here on business - I don't want to leave! Fabulous food but more than that-on a rainy Tuesday night in London to have live (excellent) piano music to accompany the meal and a friendly non-pretentious atmosphere is a rarity. Come here-you won't regret it
