We met an old friend at El Pirata for drinks and decided to have some tapas there before going onto a play. What a very good decision. It's a lovely family restaurant/bar which is great for enjoying a glass of wine but also for the quality of the food, We tried the set menu 1 and wow, these are good... More

Popped in for lunch just now and had the best tapas in London. Very accommodating friendly staff who were full of suggestions, but the food was exceptional. I had tapas a couple of weeks ago over on the Strand, it paled into insignificance. Shall be taking my good lady here for a bite in the evening next week. Well done.

I'd heard good things but I was pretty disappointed in El Pirato. Some of the food was tasty but it was a real mixed bag. Our servers were quite slow to see us and given that the restaurant was half empty there didn't seem to be a reason for that. We ordered a lot of tapas and a paella to... More

This is a wonderful restaurant in the Park Lane hotel area. An awesome tapas and wine menu. With jamon serrano, quesos, grilled squid, paella valenciana... there so much to choose and all delicious! I would go back again and again. You must go to this restaurant if you are in town!

Variety of tapas was good and we liked all of our selection of hot and cold tapas. Service started off a bit frenetic and slowed by the time it came to get the bill. There was a good lively atmosphere upstairs and it was great for people watching

They have lots of choice. It was our second visit. Had been here years ago on early trip to UK. They did really well to accommodate my allergies to peppers and I had plenty of options to enjoy. Food was fast, fresh nd tasty and the wine was really good too. Downstairs can be a bit like a cave but... More

Very good - this establishment has an excellent selection of tapas and all were very good, and the prices were very reasonable. I don't know what to say - we visited Barcelona after London and this was by far the best tapas we had. Service was good, basement view nothing special. Place was very crowded - I would advise reservations... More

Authentically Spanish tapas with specialities from different regions. Great and friendly service. Good value for money considering the location and a great buzz even on a Wednesday night. Que rico!
