I was sceptical when I first entered the dining hall since it was crampy. Later I realized how yummy it was. One of the best South Indian food I had in the UK. It had good veg and non-veg varieties and cost was pound-friendly. If you are a foodie not worried about comfort then this is the place to be.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner serves excellent home cooked mouth watering food at prices you will not find anywhere in the UK. Brimming platefuls of flavourful lamb, fish and chicken-curry for £ 3-£3.50 . So many side dishes to choose and caters well for vegetarians as well. We stayed at this place and had breakfast and dinner which was part of... More

Food is different from what you get in any other so called Indian cuisine restaurants. It is authentic and does not cost much. It is visited by many people who work in nearby offices. The menu is not elaborate. There is an open air sitting area with canopy covered tables, good if you are visiting in summers.

I saw this written about in the London Metro so other half and myself hoofed off to inspect. It is very much like a student hall. Plain tables, jugs of water, food served at a hatch. The portions are served in breakfast - type dishes but hot (ish). Get served - move on - pay - eat. Not recommended for... More

I eat lunch here probably three times a week. The food is consistently good, with an excellent choice of lamb, chicken and fish curries, plus a rotating selection of two or three vegetarian curries. They also do specials which regularly change, so there is always something new. The service is simple but efficient. You queue up in the middle of... More

wholesome thaali with rotis, liked everything they served. it was refreshing to find Indian food, especially after days of surviving on bread and cheese :) The quality of the food was good and equally good was the variety and the taste of the food. I would recommend it for anyone visiting London

This is not a typical curry house & has authentic Indian flavors. It's also inexpensive, the food is wholesome, freshly cooked and is an all you can eat buffet.

After redaing many good reviews about the place, we thought of giving it a try this weekend. So Saturdays are only buffet lunches which is £8 per head. I wasn't convinced with the idea of paying £8 for a bowl of home made daal and veg curry with rice and already cooked aloo paratha stored in a hot case. Rest... More
