If it weren't for TA I would never go into this place. But, hey, what a positive surprise! This small family owned restaurant is amazing! I didn't know what to choose and thus was offered a menu and everything I had was fantastic! I really enjoy Indian food and this experience was outstanding! I will definitely be back!

This restaurant is not in a touristy area. When we arrived there the owner/manager steered us next door to purchase our beer (cheap). We weren't sure what to order so we asked the owner to bring us 'what's good' ... and was it ever. The Paneer was the stuff that serious cravings are made of ... Great local atmosphere, clean... Good Indian food at prices unlike the ones you usually pay for dinner in London. Not in the best area of the city, but it will make your visit worth while with the friendly service and the really decent food. I have to admit I've had much better Indian food in various restaurants around the country, but who cares? At... More

We paid £38 for six dishes and naan for two including service, which seemed pretty reasonable. Everything was tasty & the people there were friendly.

Visited recently with an old workmate, who happens to be Indian. He has in past taken me to some extremely good Indian clubs and restaurants, and this restaurant didn't disappoint. The food was very well spiced and cooked, the service was very, very good (nothing seemed to be too much trouble) it is also a BYO so the cost of... More

Just off Wandsworth Road tucked in a row of shops is this small cafe restaurant, I had been there about five years ago when it was jsut a cafe but the owners, due to rising demand made it comfortable to enjoy the dining. Like most diners we do not like heavy drinks prices but worry not, here you can take... More

I went with a number or workmates and wasn't disappointed. There's no alcohol licence but drink can be bought at the off licence next door and the restaurant doesn't charge corkage. It was left up to the waiter to bring us a selection of dishes. Usually that's a licence for them to print money but the food just kept coming... More

Food was excellent and especially good for a vegetarian. The special dhal of the day was (to me) really unusual and I would go again based on that dish alone. Sag Panner was very nice and, as with all the dishes, portion size was large. Amazing value all round. Definitely order the Superdupa naan if you're in a group -... More

Have been to Hot Stuff about a dozen times now over the past couple of years. Have always had a great time and a good feed. We just ask the waiter to choose for us and he has never disappointed. Huge naan, lots of variety to the dishes, and their chili paneer is my favourite. A couple of other things... More

I have been eating at this restaurant for the last 10 years, and certainly it used to be brilliant - great, freshly prepared, tasty food - cooked in front of you, buzzy atmospehere and cheap prices. However my last 3 visits have sadly been very average. Infact on Friday, the chana masala and vegetable curry (which is my standard order)... More
