Really excellent food, outstanding value especially if you get there before 7pm. Warning: chip/pin type of credit card or cash only, no swipe cards.

They have a very interesting mix of different types of food and countries. Overall the menu is not to vast but therefore all of it is very good. The Pasta with Chicken and peanut sauce is one of my favorites plus their goats cheese parcels are also very yummy. They offer set menus for an amazing value but single dishes... More

Another visit which unfortunately ended up in the wrong choice of the main course- lamb steak in my case. It wasn't very palatable and the taste buds needed a bit more. I am used to having lamb meat with mint sauce or in spices. My mistake in choosing the wrong dish-should have asked the chef! The atmosphere was good but... More

It was a Thursday night, there was no special occasion but I felt like eating out. The thing about London is there is a tendency to aim for the centre of town and the ‘West End’. Theres nothing worst than going into a restaurant, who’s business relies on one-off passing trade, served mediocre food and treated poorly by service staff... More

I've eaten here a few times so thought I must write a review about this amazing place!! Food is of very high standard and a big plus side is if you order a table before 5pm you pay a discounted rate!! Main works out about £5-6 and desserts are around £2-3 per person. I love the belsize chicken!! Nice big... More

It's cheap. Food was ok but very basic, the menu lacked any consistency or food style. They insisted on playing happy birthday incredibly loudly three times, I couldn't speak to my partner it was awful.

This restaurant is brilliant; I live in the area and have come here a number of times. I came here with my family for dinner on Saturday night; we were seated in the annex of the restaurant, which while is not as beautifully decorated at the main part (which is so nice) it suited, as my uncle is so tall.... My friend alma who lives in the area took me here for the first time last tuesday . Don't be put off by the tired looking outside as once you go in you will be in for a lovely experience . The place oozes with character and atmosphere. Incredibly. If you order before 7pm there is a substantial reduction and... More

We hadn't been for a while and luckily remembered to book. I had forgotten it's always heaving here by about 8pm. That's because it serves better than OK food in rather jolly surroundings at an astonishingly (for London) reasonable price. The asparagus salad was tasty and fresh and had plenty of asparagus - none of the three pieces and loads... More
