Being from Spain and coming from the region of Valencía which is known for paella I can say this is by far the best paella experience I've had outside of Spain.

From the octopus starter to the suckling pig main course, words are not enough to express the euphoria I experienced with this meal. I wouldn't have minded without the dessert, with the chocolate fondant but I didn't mind as I was so blown away. Friends had for starters a burrata and bisque, which was beautiful - especially the burrata with... More

they took some 'traditional' food but made it chic and special. Loved it! Service was great and the wine was special....and not expensive. It was a 3 course menu for 26 pounds sterling, a bargain.

Great food and friendly staff. A good place with a relaxing atmosphere to meet with family/friends for an evening. Spanish restaurant with a good selection of dishes. Good value for money.

Great hotel, the restaurant is well layed out with plenty of space between tables, unfortunately the food let it down, I had the pate it was so over cooked it tasted bitter, the main corse was meant to have roasted veg with it I got two tiny slices of aubergine and that was it, overall very disappointing, only had a... 10 of us dine, 6 had meat dishes and all over cooked. Very bland and dry and food lacked flavour. Service was ok, but the experience lacked those little touches & surprises I.e bread selections, tasting dishes etc.. The whole party was disappointed at the end, so a consensus of bad feelings and disappointing.

We ate here for the first night of a weekend stay, and what a good choice. From arrival to departure we were treated extremely well, by all the staff. The food although of smaller proportions was excellent, well presented and tasty. A very Spanish theme, I had cuttlefish croquettes, and paella, my husband prawns in chilli, and sea bass. Finished... L'albufera is in the Melia hotel close to Regent's Park and entry is through the entrance to the hotel. The restaurant has a quiet, retrained atmosphere that allows good conversation across a table (some background music, but not intrusive), and the staff come and go without really disturbing it at all. The reason for choosing this restaurant was to try... More
