Pre 70th birthday celebrations for my mother in law

The wife and I treated the wife's mothers to her pre 70th birthday celebrations. The girls who work there are very friendly and polite. Food was tasty. Atmosphere was great especially with the flamenco. We were seated in the alcove in the middle which was great. Only let down was the slow... read more

I went to Salvador and Amanda on Saturday from 19:20 am. We politely asked if they had any tables for two people to dine since we did not have any booking. We were told by the Receptionist/ or Hostess that they did not have any tables available. While we could clearly see that they were marked reserved. There were numerous... More

Having read your review several times it is very unsettling that you have chosen to accuse the venue and its staff of being discriminatory to patrons in any way, we cannot comprehend why you would make such an accusation, it is morally wrong and we are appalled. We have been running Salvador & Amanda in Great Newport Street for many... More

This is an amazing bar which does great cocktails and food, make sure you book a table as it gets really busy. The vibe is good as it's an older crowd where people dress nicely.

We went with our tastecard for a pre-theatre meal - arriving at around 6pm. We were offered drinks - I went for the house white, which tasted like vinegar and so sent back and had the pino - which was marginally better! We ordered a selection of tapas - some were nice (spanish meat balls and calamari), however, the cod... More

Hi Jenny, Sorry to read you weren't totally satisfied with your meal. Could you get in touch and let me know which night of the week you were booked in on and where you were sitting? I will of course be passing your comments onto the venue staff. We can get very busy during early service, 5pm to 7pm, as... More

On walking in there is an air of "class" and quality. Service is excellent and the food is fresh and flavourful and plentiful. Super value. A "go back to" place.

Came here for a quick meal before the theatre. Had the set Tapas menu for 2 , starter of Olives , Cheese and very fresh bread, Then we chose 4 Tapas from a selection of about 8 dishes. They came up as cooked , which was great - good portion size. Ended the meal with a plate of mixed desserts... More

Eaten here on a couple of occasions as a Tastecard customer (half price food). Would be a little dissappointed having paid full price for the tapas, but that said, it is still decent food. Happy hour between 5pm-7pm makes it overall a good value meal!

Went there on a Thursday evening for a dinner and a flamenco show. Unfortunately a girlfriend whom I came with could not stay due to her private affair and I ended up dinning on my own. We went here before going out in the West End on a Saturday, and ordered off the pre theatre menu. For the price, the selection and quality of the food was very good, and the service was excellent. The decor was very nice, and apparently they do flamenco performances on some nights, although we weren't there to see them. The... More
