I've been to this place three times already, and definitely still counting. This restaurant has helpful and friendly stuff and provides a really good atmosphere. Since my first visit, I always order a Peloponnese, which is perfect if you want to share with your friend and want to try a lot of different meze. In this sharing platter you get... More

We went for the lunchtime set menu, which is only £8.95 each and enjoyed flatbread, falafel, rice, etc. A bottle of white Makedonikos wine, supplemented by a carafe of the same washed it down well. Service was fine and we appreciated

Eating here was a real pleasure , the staff were chatty and friendly .They helped with the menu as we were unsure of some of the dishes. The food was lovely , we love having lots of different dishes to share. The waitress was informative and attentive . It was a very enjoyable lunch.

A very disappointing experience. Half hearted service and second rate food. We liked the idea of authentic Greek food and hoped to be reminded of Greek Island holidays. The lunchtime specials sounded good, but didn't deliver. The lamb kefte lacked seasoning and flavour. The salad was a bit past its best. Flat bread and rice were ok. A reasonably priced... More

We've been at this restaurant on a fairly crowded sunday early afternoon. The service was very attentive, not exceptionally fast but kind and always smiling. We had octopus and falafel, plus new potatoes; everything was really tasty and well prepared, but even though the prices look very convenient, the portions are quite small. To be honest the octopus size was... More

I took a wander for lunch and they had a pop up bar outside in the market. It looked good, the wait was ok and it was only £5•50 for a lunch time pack. Two main s, two sides and it was ample for a lunch . Tasty, good price and worth a wait !

We booked a table here for 6.30, but we probably didn't need to as it was quite empty. The service was excellent and the food delicious as always! Excellent value too, love The Real Greek!

Having read a lot about the Real Greek we left a little disappointed. The food was ok, cucumber on the crudités was definitely at the end of its life soggy and on the turn. If you are open until 8pm then don't make customers feel uncomfortable at 7pm. The belly pork was lovely the house wine good value. Watching the... More

Just returned from an evening at the Real Greek and had an excellent meal. We ordered 8 meze between the two of us and had plenty. So much so we left some as we couldn't eat it all. My favourite has to be the cous cous and the houmous however the calamari was also excellent. Just wish they would open... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
