Old favourite

I have been coming here for over 20 years and the food is still consistent. Friendly staff and good quality Food if perhaps not the most cutting edge of menus but good nevertheless. I have taken lots of friends here over the years and no one has made a negative comment.

I went with some friends last night after a few people mentioned it was a good restaurant. .....The food is nothing special whatsoever, aside its cost - starters warmed up in the microwave before reaching he table, stodgy rice and unexciting carries throughout the table. Both starters and mains were pricey for a mediocre Thai. The wine list is terrible... More

Avoid this place at all costs. Ordered takeaway and as we kept the delivery guy waiting for 2 mins, even though we didn't hear him knocking and he never called, threatened us with aggressive behaviour. An overpriced takeaway with a threat of violence thrown in for free.

Came here with a group of friends. Good service, comprehensive menu but nothing really memorable or outstanding. Decor/atmosphere nothing special. If you are out with a few mates and want a nosh-up then nothing wrong with the place. Friendly, clean, decent portions. ..but that's about all. Run of the mill.

We are used to the Fat Boys brand in Ealing and Brentford but, being in Wimbledon, decided to try this outpost. It was before 7 on a Friday and there were only a few people there but by 7.30 it was really filling up and a table of 8 placed next to us made us feel a bit cramped -... More

In my quest for the perfect Thai restaurant, I have visited for the first time this SW19 place. The place has character, is in a great location with a nice crowd as only the Village can present but it would need a little bit more to be listed as one of the best London Thai restaurant. Food was very very... More

Visited just before Christmas. Found the food to be reasonably authentic. However, the portions are quite small and there must have been something funny happening with the prawn supplies that day. Both my friend and I ordered Pad Thai with prawns for our main course. For some reason, she got 2 prawns where as I got 4. Either way, we... More

Thai Tho always has some special lunch or dinner menus and if you want a quick dinner after work it is a good value choice. Alternatively it also works if you want a more formal meal. The pad prik chicken is great as is the grilled king prawn. During Wimbledon it can be crowded (it is popular with some of... More

We called in on the offchance on a Saturday night without a booking. We were warmly welcomed and given the last available table. it was a wee bit of a squeeze but otherwise the place felt comfortable, the decor was pleasant and appropriate and the overall ambiance was reasonably good. The staff were, polite, friendly and efficient... despite the fact... More
