Family run, Mosob is warm and welcoming, with charming service really embracing the family-centric traditions of Eritrea and inviting guests to relax and unwind while being treated to the kitchen's vibrant cuisine. Worth the adventure to find it

If you want to experience great food combined with a great staff (the owner should offer a graduate class on how to provide great service), and want Eritrean food, find this place and enjoy the evening.

While walking from the tube station to Mosob you are not quite sure what to expect. Even from the outside the building is somewhat underwhelming. However the food is fantastic and eating with you hands is a very different experience for many. The service is charming and very happy to give you books to look at on Eritrea or have... More

This was an off the cuff last minute we need to find somewhere near that's still open past 11 moment. Mosob was the lucky spot we decided upon, so waltzing in at 11pm we chanced our luck on getting a table for 2. Simple question and the simple answer was yes, which is a good start. It is a not... Had not tried Eritrean food before and was not disappointed, We had a special mixed starter and a mix of chicken and veg dishes with injera bread.

Lovely small restaurant, nice people and good food. Must have injera, very tasty and zesty 😋. Pleasant decoration and surprisingly cosy.

Went to Mosob last night as had heard good things about the food, and had indeed never tried Eritrean cuisine. Was definitely not disappointed. The food was sublime - full of flavour and spice. Set menu was a great way to experience everything on offer. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem which will be highly recommended to all

Highly recommended if you want to try something new and discover authentic Eritrean cuisine: the food is simply amazing (spices and main ingredients come all the way from Eritrea itself), the staff is extremely friendly (it's a family run business, they'll make you feel at home and they're extremely proud of their country and culture) and the place is small,... Last week we went to this restaurant for something completely new and also because it had very good reviews on most websites. Interestingly enough it is on the same road as one of my favourite Thai restaurants. Anyway once inside the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff and the décor was very relaxing. We looked at the menu and on... More

Mosob looked after me and my friends for my birthday dinner this week. The service was brilliant - they explained the menu, brought our food in good time, kept the drinks flowing and catered to everyone's needs. A great achievement given there were 17 of us! As the host, I could really relax and enjoy myself. Everyone was so taken... More

The staff are just incredibly friendly here and make you feel at ease and very welcome. Be sure to brush up on your geography trivia beforehand as the manager loves to quiz people. I've been eating here for years and it is consistently friendly and delicious and a great value. It can get a bit loud on Friday or Saturday... More
