We went for dinner and had not had Eritrean food previously but wanted to try. Absolutely delicious! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed getting 'stuck in' and using our fingers. We chose one of the set menus and each dish was rich and flavoursome. Be aware! The injera is very filling!!... More

This place is well worth a visit, great selection of dishes, also for vegetarians. Super tasty injeras, great stews, freshly brewed mint tea and authentic Kenyan beer - Tusker. The decor is simple with African touches, staff is very kind. If you fancy a change from Indian and Italian food this is definitely a place to go to.

Dined here on Saturday. The food was ok, nothing special, not enough of the good stuff and too much soggy bread. Service was really nice. Wine was cheap, you got what you paid for. For the price. Not worth it. Wouldn’t return.

A delicious meal and very authentic food. We shared the Massawa set menu for 2 people which was a good range of food. The portion was quite big so could have been shared between 3. The room at the back is more traditional and atmospheric, the main restaurant area is a bit more sterile but still good. The staff were... More

We dinned here not knowing what to expect and were extremely surprised - from the warm welcome we received to the pleasant goodbyes, please come again we were very impressed. We never felt rushed but the service was always there. We cannot speak too highly of this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

This is a very unassuming and smallish place and NOT in the CITY. But worth going out of your way for. Been there about 4-5 times. The first time we went- For a change the owner was delighted to hear that we were vegetarians! :D Though my friends told me the non-vegetarian food is good too. He then asked if... More

After a bit of searching on OpenTable we came across this place. What a great evening! The friendly, helpful staff asked if we had been before and spent time to talk to us and explain how the menu worked, which was excellent. Chose a set menu as wasn't sure what to order, this was amazing and great value for money.... More
