Description: Situated in London's Westbourne Park, just a five minute meander from the local tube stop, Mosob offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the flavours and atmosphere of Eritrea. Family run, Mosob is warm and welcoming, with charming service really embracing the family-centric traditions of Eritrea and inviting guests to relax and unwind while being treated to the kitchen's vibrant cuisine. Influenced by geographic and historic links to Arabia, Ethiopia, the Sudan and Italy, Eritrean cuisine is uniquely distinctive with a strong variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, individual spice blends and specialty injera bread used throughout, providing guests with flavours and eating styles they're unlikely to have come across before. Equally focused on tradition and history is Mosob's interior, carefully put together with colourful textiles, rough wood paneling and organic forms alongside contemporary lighting and furniture for comfort and style. Whether an intimate romantic meal, business lunch or dinner and drinks with friends, Mosob offers the food, atmosphere and service to ensure a night to remember.

I dined at Mosob with my family and we all really loved it. The staff was very helpfull and friendly, asked if it was our first time, told us about the food and made recommendations. We all loved the eritrean food and the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I will definatly come again, next time in London!

We wanted to try something different. A 18£ taxi from Piccadilly Circus, make a reservation first. Here you eat with your bare hands. Very tasty food and nice service, try it!

We met up with friends in Lonodon and thought we'd try something a bit different. This is a small and very friendly restaurant with staff that make every effort to make you welcome. We had a meat and a veggie platter - that come on a large single dish with a range of stews, deals and spiced veg that had... More

We arrived an hour early for our dinner reservation but were given a table anyway as the place was mostly empty. The area around the restaurant made me second guess our decisions, but it turned out to be pretty great. The service was wonderful; the staff were warm and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The food itself was great,... More

In the happy days before I knew that I can't eat gluten I used to happily eat great Ethiopian food in Washington, D.C. So when my husband suggested this Eritrian restaurant I agreed to go. Similar food. The restaurant is in a bit of a strange neighborhood (we walked past a creepy bus station). It is a simple down home... More

A small, family-owned Eritrean restaurant right by Westbourne Park tube station, with simply delicious, flavourful, fresh food. The owner and his mother are wonderfully friendly and willing to share about their native country, culture, and food, and are always ready with recommendations depending on dietary requirements. Cannot recommend enough - make a reservation though, it tends to get busy, and... More

A friend had told me about Mosob well over a year ago, and I finally went this week. I'm so glad I did! I was so impressed by the food and the amazing staff, who are so genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful? I'd not had Ethiopian / Eritrean food before, so I let my friend order for the both of... Great Ethiopian style food. I had never even heard of Eritrean food before, but to my untrained taste buds it was the same. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was great. We had a variety of vegetarian options and they were all very tasty. The ambiance was authentic and interesting to see and learn about.
