Description: Situated in London's Westbourne Park, just a five minute meander from the local tube stop, Mosob offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the flavours and atmosphere of Eritrea. Family run, Mosob is warm and welcoming, with charming service really embracing the family-centric traditions of Eritrea and inviting guests to relax and unwind while being treated to the kitchen's vibrant cuisine. Influenced by geographic and historic links to Arabia, Ethiopia, the Sudan and Italy, Eritrean cuisine is uniquely distinctive with a strong variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, individual spice blends and specialty injera bread used throughout, providing guests with flavours and eating styles they're unlikely to have come across before. Equally focused on tradition and history is Mosob's interior, carefully put together with colourful textiles, rough wood paneling and organic forms alongside contemporary lighting and furniture for comfort and style. Whether an intimate romantic meal, business lunch or dinner and drinks with friends, Mosob offers the food, atmosphere and service to ensure a night to remember.

Very big portion of food with lots of variety! It was good to try something new for a change. Service was excellent with the waiter taking time to speak to both of us.

This was a very nice dining experience! Our waitress was very friendly and explained us the whole menu. We got nice food and it was so much we couldn't finish the plate - and we are both good eaters :) The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely as well. I recommend to prebook.

I've never tried Eritrean, and had this place recommended by a native Eritrean. It is really nice. Our waiter was charming, and my mouth is still watering when I think about the qatagna (sp?). It's on the starter menu, and I will definitely be back for more.

A group of four friends catching up and felt very welcome and cosy at Mosob. Service was excellent with the added bonus of learning about a country and culture Im ashamed to say I did not know existed! Was a different dining experience as it is very interactive and the food was great and so cheap, for 2 bottles of... More

Deliberately tried this restaurant last week after reading TA review. We did not entirely know what to expect at first. However, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food was plenty and tasty, especially the grilled beef. The owner of the restaurant, we think, was kindly explain how they ate with their hand without licking your fingers, wished I... More

You know when you are in a good restaurant when the waiter smiles and welcomes you. It was quite a difficult choice with the menu but the waiter advised and gave us the instructions. food was very good and the overall experience friendly and relaxing. Clean your hands before eating!

Having recently moved to the area we were intrigued by this restaurant and the many raving reviews. We wre not disappointed. We rang up at 7 on a Friday night and were able to get a table for 2 by 8:30. The service was some of the best I've experienced in London, so attentive, so helpful and just generally very... More

Mosob came highly recommended by a friend and we weren't disappointed. On first entering, the restaurant is small and unassuming. Not having eaten Eritrean food before, we were unsure of what to order, but the hosts explained the menu and were happy to speak to us about Eritrea. Overall we had a wonderful evening. The food was good, the atmosphere... More

I have a friend who visits London alternate weeks for work and my self-imposed mission is to take him to a different cuisine restaurant every time we meet; to quite literally eat our way around the world's cuisines without leaving town. This restaurant is billed as Eritrean, in truth I had no idea what that meant but decided to try... More
