Description: Situated in London's Westbourne Park, just a five minute meander from the local tube stop, Mosob offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the flavours and atmosphere of Eritrea. Family run, Mosob is warm and welcoming, with charming service really embracing the family-centric traditions of Eritrea and inviting guests to relax and unwind while being treated to the kitchen's vibrant cuisine. Influenced by geographic and historic links to Arabia, Ethiopia, the Sudan and Italy, Eritrean cuisine is uniquely distinctive with a strong variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, individual spice blends and specialty injera bread used throughout, providing guests with flavours and eating styles they're unlikely to have come across before. Equally focused on tradition and history is Mosob's interior, carefully put together with colourful textiles, rough wood paneling and organic forms alongside contemporary lighting and furniture for comfort and style. This little gem is hard to find but worth the hunt! Some friends and I met up here for dinner. I had never had Eritrean or Ethiopian food before and loved it. The food was served on a large platter and we all shared it using a very uniquely flavored/shaped bread. It was like nothing I've ever eaten before and... More

I absolutely loved this restaurant! I tried Ethiopian food whilst travelling in East Africa and now being back in the UK I wanted to have the same experience again. The food is excellent, although not as hot and spicy as when I tried it before. The restaurant has a really good atmosphere and is decorated in a nice and unique... More

Daughter spotted a listing for Eritrean food on Urban Spoon and we decided to take a hike from our hotel in the Marble Arch area to Westbourne Park and we needed the return hike to work off what we had for supper. We aren't the most adventurous folks when it comes to eating, so Benyamin took time to explain what... More

We were greeted by a lovely guy who told us about Eritrea and the food and gave great recommendations of what to eat. The food is really different and has lots of great flavours with meat and vegetarian options. We finished our meal with traditional spices tea and baklava! It was great! The restaurant is quite basic but has loads... More

I've eaten Ethiopian food before and loved it, but never Eritrean. I was looking for somewhere a bit different for my partner's birthday meal and found a note on my phone from a while ago with Mosob restaurant on it, obviously from someone advising me to go. What can I say apart from it was all excellent in every way.... More

Never had Eritrean food before - yum yum. Quite a basic looking restaurant but the staff were great and very helpful in what we should order. Several people were there as first timers too and we were all pleasantly surprised. We just walked past and decided to pop in. To be honest I would quite happily not write a review,... More

I've been to Mosob on a Saturday evening with a friend. The restaurant is a bit spartan in terms of interior design, but the staff is friendly and the food is very good. We had one of the set menus for 2 people c.£37 which included a starter, the main course with beef, chicken and vegetables on a bed of... More

This restaurant was referred to us by our son who recently travelled on business to London. We had a banquet comprising of spicy lamb, chicken, lentils and superb flat bread resembling crape. The management and staff were friendly and engaging. I can see why it has been highly rated in the past.
