We arrived an hour early for our dinner reservation but were given a table anyway as the place was mostly empty. The area around the restaurant made me second guess our decisions, but it turned out to be pretty great. The service was wonderful; the staff were warm and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The food itself was great,... More

In the happy days before I knew that I can't eat gluten I used to happily eat great Ethiopian food in Washington, D.C. So when my husband suggested this Eritrian restaurant I agreed to go. Similar food. The restaurant is in a bit of a strange neighborhood (we walked past a creepy bus station). It is a simple down home... More

A small, family-owned Eritrean restaurant right by Westbourne Park tube station, with simply delicious, flavourful, fresh food. The owner and his mother are wonderfully friendly and willing to share about their native country, culture, and food, and are always ready with recommendations depending on dietary requirements. Cannot recommend enough - make a reservation though, it tends to get busy, and... More

A friend had told me about Mosob well over a year ago, and I finally went this week. I'm so glad I did! I was so impressed by the food and the amazing staff, who are so genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful? I'd not had Ethiopian / Eritrean food before, so I let my friend order for the both of... Great Ethiopian style food. I had never even heard of Eritrean food before, but to my untrained taste buds it was the same. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was great. We had a variety of vegetarian options and they were all very tasty. The ambiance was authentic and interesting to see and learn about.

This little gem is hard to find but worth the hunt! Some friends and I met up here for dinner. I had never had Eritrean or Ethiopian food before and loved it. The food was served on a large platter and we all shared it using a very uniquely flavored/shaped bread. It was like nothing I've ever eaten before and... More

I absolutely loved this restaurant! I tried Ethiopian food whilst travelling in East Africa and now being back in the UK I wanted to have the same experience again. The food is excellent, although not as hot and spicy as when I tried it before. The restaurant has a really good atmosphere and is decorated in a nice and unique... More

Daughter spotted a listing for Eritrean food on Urban Spoon and we decided to take a hike from our hotel in the Marble Arch area to Westbourne Park and we needed the return hike to work off what we had for supper. We aren't the most adventurous folks when it comes to eating, so Benyamin took time to explain what... More

We were greeted by a lovely guy who told us about Eritrea and the food and gave great recommendations of what to eat. The food is really different and has lots of great flavours with meat and vegetarian options. We finished our meal with traditional spices tea and baklava! It was great! The restaurant is quite basic but has loads... More
