Description: Drawing on Joel Robuchon's internationally renowned culinary expertise, already accredited with several Michelin Stars at restaurants throughout the world, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon's philosophy is based on serving simple cuisine of the most exceptional quality. This London restaurant has been awarded Michelin Star, as well as 3 AA Rosettes, establishing it as one of the most exceptional places to dine in London. Robuchon's menu delights the palate with clean insightful flavours and refreshingly understated presentation. The dishes are predominantly French with Italian and Spanish influences. The dining experience at L'Atelier is an interactive one. On the ground floor, the eating counter surrounds the entire kitchen where the food is prepared. Robuchon sees the immediate benefit of this Japanese-inspired layout to chefs, as one can gauge the reaction of clients, and even converse with them whilst they watch their food being prepared. Unlike the sister restaurants in Paris and Tokyo, the London restaurant also has another 20 seats where diners can sit opposite each other. Meanwhile, La Cuisine on the first floor offers more traditional restaurant seating in a setting that could be likened to dining in the kitchen itself. Wherever you are seated you will enjoy the highest quality food in an informal, convivial environment. Valet parking is also available. Please note, last reservations are taken half an hour prior to closing time. Dress code: Smart Casual, shorts are not permitted.

Inside the cosy construct of Robuchon's restaurant one almost suddenly feels like they could be inside a friend's kitchen and this welcoming aura, stayed with us the entire night. The waiter who served us was incredibly charming, funny and helpful, throwing in a few gleeful witty comments along the way. It was a refreshing change to other waiters I have... More

An intimate but busy restaurant with great service and food. The layout around the bar area is good for those that like to see their food being cooked. Would recommend

3 ladies went for lunch in full knowledge in that a 2 Michelin star restaurant would be pricey. It was! Food was exceptional, service was very attentive but not intrusive. Deserts were to die for. Bill was £180 - for lunch including drinks. I'm not quibbling as I expected it to be expensive, that's why we went, but I still... More

Robuchon restaurants top our family list of favorites - the London one included. Excellent as always - we have been to Robuchon restaurants in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Macau and although I felt that on this occasion the food and service was not at its peak we had a great meal. The presentation of the food is always superb and... More

I booked a 3 course meal from a set menu with sommelier chosen wines for £46. The staff were attentive yet unobtusive (the water glasses filled as if by magic), and it was great to watch the chefs in action - the guy preparing my sea bream carpaccio spent ages arranging the edible flower petals with a tweezer! The quality... More

I ate at the Bar with euro waiters leaning over and attentively serving you wines from a diverse but interesting list accompanied by elegantly prepared small dishes which were deceptively rich. Kitchen action on display for those like me who were dining alone. Not cheap but a good experience for dining solo.

We took the degustation menu which was delicious. Dishes were very fine and delicate. The only downside are the desserts. We did not find them as good and fine as the rest of the dishes. Also, we ordered tea which came with few salted butter caramel. After spending a bit of money on the food, we found that this was... More
