Nice and cozy restaurant

We went to the restaurant because it looked so nice. The food was very delicious. We enjoyed it very much. There was only one more table booked. We enjoyed our evening there and we would come back again.

My daughter and I dined there on a chilly evening. My couscous was very delicate, definitely not of the "quick cooked" variety, the broth was rich, fresh, bright and flavorful, and the vegetables retained their integrity. My daughter's vegetable tagine was richly flavored and achieved a complexity that suggested it had been cooked by someone who knows how to tease... More

First visit having lived in the area for 31 years, decided to give it a try. Interesting interior, although showing signs of age with some lamps not lit. Small restaurant, with very few customers, who all seem to be tourists. No table cloths and paper serviettes. Moroccan table lights remained unlit throughout the restaurant. Long time to wait for food... More

4 of us visited the restaurant earlier this week. We were drawn in by the exterior and when we looked in it seemed cosy an and intimate. However the experience quickly went downhill. The waitress struggled with English and found it difficult to take our order. The menu itself was limited as there were only tagines available. We were told... More

Looks promissing from the outside and it is genuinely cosy inside; small but not cramped. Nice decoration. The menu is spot on : all the dishes you would expect, good selection but not over the top. No desserts but great selection of mixed fruit juices. Nothing wrong with the wine list itself, but only the house wines were available... Waitress... More

We went with my wife to have a nice meal there. It is run by nice people and main thing that it was Halal. Even thou there were no signs, but chef assured that all meat is halal. This was the best Moroccan food we tasted. We have been to few restaurants where they served Moroccan food but nothing beats... More

Lovely food and great atmosphere. Convenient to the many hotels around Bayswater and slightly off the beaten track of Queensway. The food was great and service perfect. The prices . . .? Well. . . .it's London.

Early evening I was the only customer other than a few take aways. The owner was very friendly. I had never had Moroccan food before and once he found out, he gave me a history of tagine. The food was excellent. A great option in the Bayswater area with so many restaurants to choose from. Only one caution. I didn't... More

Came here after a day's travel and we were tired and hungry. The tajines they served us were great! Hot and tasty, exactly what we wanted. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Would definitely go again.

Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
