Description: An eccentric Italian restaurant in the heart of Londons upmarket...
An eccentric Italian restaurant in the heart of Londons upmarket Kensington, Arcadia is a welcome change from the hushed atmosphere and all-white dcor of the areas usual dining offerings. Bright and outlandish, the surroundings here at Arcadia are anything but neutral, with murals on the walls, quirky colour schemes and character aplenty. Likewise, the service is friendly and cheerful, the staff laughing along with guests as they dart from table to table, serving food and topping up wine glasses. Arcadias bustling kitchen is the origin of an all Italian menu of authentic classic dishes, all with a homemade, traditional flavour with most items made in house, including the fabulous hand-prepared pasta featured in a wide array of the dishes. A bit of a hidden gem amongst the many typically Kensington-friendly restaurants, the Arcadia is packed with personality and authenticity, providing its guests with an always memorable fun and colourful dining experience including high quality food, a good selection of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.

We happened to be in Kensington and were planning to go for a walk in the park. Planned on grabbing a quick sandwich but happen to pass this little Italian just of Kensington High Street whilst we were looking and decided to pop in for lunch. Restaurant was fairly quiet with what I guess were a few regulars enjoying their... More

What a find. My wife and I had a great time at this restaurant, the atmosphere was great, busy but relaxing. The food was superb and the service was excellent. Will be coming back!

This is our second visit to Arcadia. On both occasions we found the staff to be friendly and efficient. There's a good mix of meat, fish and pasta dishes on the menu and we all enjoyed the dishes we had (particularly the prawns in garlic and oil). Our vegetarian diner was pleased with the choice of meat free dishes as... More

A great find just off the High Street in Kensington. This is a gem of a restaurant with a wonderful aroma of Italian flavors greeting you the minute you walk in the door. Service was fantastic, homemade pasta and sauces exceeded expectations and portions were generous.

Just left this miserable place where they attempt to put on a service charge for grunting and barely looking up to acknowledge your presence. Food overpriced and less than average. A nice little strawberry could have raised the ante slightly in the £9.95 Kir Royals . Bland and a disappointing end to a otherwise lovely trip to London . I... More

We came here for dinner as a group. The restaurant is very pleasant with interesting decor and pleasant and efficient staff. We had three courses, all of which were of very high quality. Mains are generally reasonable. Starters and desserts are slightly higher than normal price. Drinks are quite expensive and thinks like bread for the table similarly. A 12.5%... More

A party of four of us went to Arcadia on new Year's Eve, They had put the boat out and the restaurant looked lovely - white balloons, glitzy hats and poppers and sparkles on the floor. I have eaten here often and the food is consistently good and was so on the night. The staff too are charming. The only... More

My family and I have dined at this restaurant many times on our London visits over the past ten years. It's always been quirky and fun but it's become tired. Other restaurants have opened nearby and it almost feels like the Arcadia is being overshadowed by new and more exciting venues. Our lobster pasta dish arrived with a very unappetizing... More

A group of 6 of us visited Arcadia for dinner after watching tennis in the Royal Albert Hall. We were very early for our booking but there was no problem and the service was prompt and professional. Food was very good, a decent menu and a range of prices including (before 6pm) a set menu. The halibut was particularly noteworthy.... More
