Description: An eccentric Italian restaurant in the heart of Londons upmarket...
An eccentric Italian restaurant in the heart of Londons upmarket Kensington, Arcadia is a welcome change from the hushed atmosphere and all-white dcor of the areas usual dining offerings. Bright and outlandish, the surroundings here at Arcadia are anything but neutral, with murals on the walls, quirky colour schemes and character aplenty. Likewise, the service is friendly and cheerful, the staff laughing along with guests as they dart from table to table, serving food and topping up wine glasses. Arcadias bustling kitchen is the origin of an all Italian menu of authentic classic dishes, all with a homemade, traditional flavour with most items made in house, including the fabulous hand-prepared pasta featured in a wide array of the dishes. A bit of a hidden gem amongst the many typically Kensington-friendly restaurants, the Arcadia is packed with personality and authenticity, providing its guests with an always memorable fun and colourful dining experience including high quality food, a good selection of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.

A little gem off kensington high street _ this Italian has a quirky interior design and a wonderful menu th a t took some discussion to choose as it all sounded enticing. Eventually decided we both were delighted with our choice very well cooked wonderful flavours and would definitely return to try out more of their menu.

We had limited time and were looking for somewhere to eat before going to see Follies at the Royal Albert Hall. We were trying to avoid the restaurant chains and found Arcadia by chance down a side street. We were greeted warmly and given the menu - we decided to go for the two-course set menu. My husband had the... More

The food and service were great. Love the decor - very off beat. Highly recommend. Had the clams and mussels and pasta - would come any time.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with my hubby. Just off the main drag in Kensington. Loves the pumpkin ravioli and the mussel and clam starter. Finished with the crema di catalana.

We are from Yorkshire but this restaurant was recommended to us so we planned the visit. Great spot, appealing décor and atmospheric. The staff were friendly, chatty and polite. The food was good from start to finish and the bottle of wine helped. There is little to say as what do you want from a good restaurant? Good food, nice... More

We happened to be in Kensington and were planning to go for a walk in the park. Planned on grabbing a quick sandwich but happen to pass this little Italian just of Kensington High Street whilst we were looking and decided to pop in for lunch. Restaurant was fairly quiet with what I guess were a few regulars enjoying their... More

This is our second visit to Arcadia. On both occasions we found the staff to be friendly and efficient. There's a good mix of meat, fish and pasta dishes on the menu and we all enjoyed the dishes we had (particularly the prawns in garlic and oil). Our vegetarian diner was pleased with the choice of meat free dishes as... More

A great find just off the High Street in Kensington. This is a gem of a restaurant with a wonderful aroma of Italian flavors greeting you the minute you walk in the door. Service was fantastic, homemade pasta and sauces exceeded expectations and portions were generous.
