Unbeatable for breakfast - a very warm welcome from really friendly staff, excellent food and real value for money. What could be better? My first visit was last week but it will definitely be on my list on future visits. It's a real find!!

If you go to London you have to go to the Garrison. I have tasted a very good smoked haddock and a very good dessert. Very nice and friendly service. Location ok and very nice warm atmosphere.

Only 300 yards from London Bridge, so great location. Airy, fun atmosphere in the Pub. They have a small cinema downstairs with a Sunday evening viewing. Food was excellent - we had the Pork Cheeks and the Chicken/Bacon sandwich. Some interesting new takes on standard dishes, and some not so standard dishes. Great staff - our server was Barbara, who... More

Sunday lunch for a friends birthday. I'd heard good things about this restaurant but walked away feeling very dissatisfied - without doubt the worst sunday roast i have had in London not to mention the most expensive. The sirloin beef was poor quality - fatty and chewy. The roast potatoes were not just undercooked but raw and had to be... More

Had a fresh pollock dish and a lamb dish.....both were fantastic. Came back for soup and cocktails tonight, saw the table next to us eating butternut squash soup last night and decided we need to try it. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!!!! Highly recommended.

We just moved into the area and wondered why this pub was always so busy. We decided to visit on a Saturday for lunch and found out why. The service is excellent, very friendly and accommodating. Our table was ready just on time and it was a nice atmosphere. We had a burger, the smoked chicken starter and a chicken... More

This's the second time we've had lunch at the Garrison pub Bermondey st and yes it won't be our last! Love the antique shabby chic door and one of the best pints of Guinness in London! Every time we've been there -there's a. Ice minute of business bods, locals and artsy types who now frequent Bermondsey st Now to the... More

The experience was exceptional from my initial enquiry by email about hiring the cinema room to 100% attentive service on the night. The reservation team were more than helpful when it came to booking the venue in providing ideas and information so everything was smooth on the night which was for my 30th birthday. On the night we had a... More

Great option for casual eating on bermondsey street. Steak and chips option always a winner. We managed to get a table without a reservation but not sure if this is the norm. To get a comfy booth type table I'd def recommend booking.

Can't go wrong for good pub grub. Excellent breakfasts and Sunday Roasts! A bit snug, certainly not a "pop in" type of pub, its always busy. Love the décor.
