We went to the Wolseley with a friend who frequents the place. Beautiful surroundings to be sure. The food however is kind of average if I'm being honest. I had the Sunday roast which was fine but not particularly memorable. The price seemed quite steep as well especially when I take into account that I have had sublime Sunday roasts... More

We dined here again on our annual visit from New Zealand. This is one of London's most fashionable restaurants and reservations are advised well in advance. The staff, the food, the atmosphere and the Art Deco building all add to a truly exceptional experience.

This is simply the best breakfast venue on the planet! Eggs Benedict, fine tea, fabulous pastries and accompaniments, impeccable service and a sensations atmosphere. This restaurant has got it all. If you are in London it is a must!

My friend and I love to meet for afternoon tea. We had two friends visiting from Edinburgh and chose to take them for afternoon tea at The Wolseley and we were not disappointed.Although very very busy the service was excellent, At first we were seated at a table near the door we explained we were old friends who had not... We chose this restaurant as our stop for high tea. With beautiful surroundings, handsome staff and chic clientele we were not disappointed. A place for beautiful people to be seen. The little nibbles were average but the chocolate sandwich was decadent and delicious. The afternoon tea blend is a must.

This was my second visit, the first was in 2010 with my sister and her client. I loved it so much that I insisted we go again! So my husband, sister and 2 English friends decided to go for a late lunch. It was quite busy but they found us a nice table. We were starving and I believe we... More

Having been for Afternoon Tea in July, we booked for lunch on our latest trip to London. And were we glad we did! We loved it again. Our waiter was excellent, and was clearly proud of the restaurant. The chicken soup with dumplings starter I had was superb, as were my other halves quails eggs. We both had the plat... More

I wanted to have a real English high tea and picked The Wolseley for the purpose. The premises are beautifully decorated in black, white and gold with exquisite Chinese-style lacquer details and magnificent chandeliers. Tea was served in an old-style silver teapot and elegant cups and I was brought a cake stand with scones and sandwiches, a set of jam... More
