The Wolseley is a really classy place. The interior is grand and the dishes are, in my experience, consistently delicious. Service is very good and the atmosphere is convivial. Open from breakfast until late, the Wolseley is excellent for breakfast, lunch, English afternoon hight tea or dinner. This place is a must for those wanting a showy dinner or dining... More

Took my sister to The Wolseley 10 days ago for afternoon tea for her birthday and we both felt we had the best afternoon tea ever. The service was superb and the venue and ambience were exceptional. The sandwiches and cakes were beautifully presented and the scones and jam/cream were delicious and home made. The staff were attentive but not... More

The Wolseley is in a beautiful building with decor that is classic and understated, but that is only part of its allure. After an early morning arrival in London, my companions and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast there. The delicious food and civilized presentation was a welcome start to our day. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive but did... More

...its the service, decor, atmosphere and most of all the great service. We had a cream tea which was exquisite. We booked on-line just to make sure and had a splendid afternoon munching on scones and drinking freshly brewed Jasmine tea. Overall, a place I would recommend to anyone wanting a unique slice of London. I have been there many... More

We recently went to the Wolseley for my partners birthday birthday and it was great. On booking they did ask if it was a special occasion and took note it was a birthday. We arrived a little early and although it was very busy our table was ready and waiting. The food was excellent and the drinks I thought would... More

If you like the idea of the old Parisian style café's then this is the place to go. Have had tea in the Ritz (just next door) The Hilton, Savoy Claridge's etc and this was better than some and on par with others and at a lot less cost. Staff were great and the atmosphere was wonderful. You must go... More

A gem of a place. Maybe a bit slow if in a hurry but for us perfect start for breakfast on damp bank holiday even though very busy. Not a cafe but it is next to the Ritz. Lunch and evening menus looked reasonable and we would go back there for any type of meal.

The Wolseley is one of those rare places wich do not change. The food is always just as delicious and the staff just as attentive. It is a pleasure to go back to one of the landmarks of London. The certainty to leave just as satisfied every time is a real luxury these days indeed the real seal of true... More

The building and decor is very impressive it feels like your in the 1920's. Serving staff were very attentive and the food was nice. I had the mixed bread's all lovely appart from some strange yorkie pud type one. A description of the bread would have been useful. Husband had a fry up they were happy to substitute the black...
