My family and I went up to London for our annual Christmas walk around Harrods and meal today and this year decided on The Wolseley for dinner. The restaurant had a very elegant, old fashioned feel to it. The waiting staff were all very friendly and food came quickly. The menu was extensive and set us high expectations for what... More

Loved it, have been before for tea, and breakfast was no different - good food, service and company! My son will forever talk about the banana milkshake, a highlight of the trip

Excellent food, excellent service - not much to be said after that really. A considered expense but highly recommended for a special occasion.

We booked a private room to entertain clients; the service was great, food was amazing, particularly for vegetarians, and lovely ambience too. I will return for private dinners too.

The Wolsely isn't as old and established as the image that it portrays, it feels as though it has been there forever. The interior is very glamorous and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. They can't do enough for you.

By way of a change the girls had afternoon tea at the Wolseley instead of the usual lunch! What a treat and what a lovely change. Service was impecable, we started at the bar, as we arrived a little early and were then seated promptly for tea. We finished up with another drink from the bar after a superb tea... More

Sunday lunch of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding is very hard to beat at the best of times, and more so in the Wolseley, who do this dish very well and very plentifully. At least that's what my wife said after enjoying a plentiful helping in the most delightful of surroundings. The food from the wide range of choices on... More

We always go to the Wolseley at least once if not more often when we're in London. It's lively, entertaining, the food is consistently good, and the service always professional. It's also very democratic; as one British acquaintance said, they treat everyone exactly the same, regardless of how one is dressed, what nationality, tourist or local. They serve from breakfast... Even though it was one of those peak periods running up to Christmas, it was baffling to see so packed a restaurant on Piccadilly so early in the evening. Went there at around 6:30pm and already it was full-house. We were late by half an hour to the table booked at 6:00pm, and a strict rule of time allocation was... More

This week had a breakfast at a restaurant that has been in my to-do list for a long time! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had fresh mango juice then eggs florentine with a side order of sausages!! Yes we were totally piggies. Our waiter was curteous & attentive. No delays at all re service. Absolutely loved the...
