I have been to the Wolseley many times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. My daughter treated me to brunch as she knows I love the place. We had eggs benedict...yum! and then shared a Portuguese Cream tart with was to die for. The interior is my favourite restaurant interior anywhere in the world and... More

A friend and I were looking for a place to stop for a quick drink after seeing an exhibition at the Royal Academy (if you're wondering why this is relevant, Piccadilly isn't a street that is exactly festooned with welcoming watering holes). We didn't have a reservation at the Wolseley but the doorman kindly let us in, and the maitre... More

As a sporadic regular I popped in for breakfast Sunday morning at 0801hrs when back in business - great welcome as ever , great table, great atmosphere although quite empty for 30mins ( how does that work ??) which has to speak to the superb design and delivery- it has a special atmosphere and real presence . The best London... More

This is one of my favourite restaurants in London. Fantastic dinner with my family with excellent service a classy setting and everybody looking like they are enjoying their meal. I highly recommend the oysters to start (oyster fan here), they're exceptionally fresh - preference for the Loch Ryans. The mutton as a main course was simply sublime. I Highly recommend... More

We had afternoon tea here. We were so impressed by the service and stunning food. They went over and above to provide exceptional service.

There are thousands of restaurants in London, all clambering over one another to grab your cash. In exchange for payment, you get to sit at a table for an hour or two, exchanging pleasantries and then placing an order with staff, who then relay the order to the kitchen and bar, who prepare the food and drink, and thereafter deliver... Had a lovely lunch here today. The service was relaxed but attentive. The Royal Fruit de Mer (with extra lobster) was so large that the two of us struggled to finish it. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a leisurely lunch - don't forget to book as there was a queue at the door the whole time we were there.

If you're a fan of a compressed table arrangements, plenty of stray food on the floor, slow service, dirty bathrooms, and an extremely loose relationship between what you order and what actually arrives, this might just be the place for you. Lovely from the outside, but living on borrowed time on the inside. Wouldn't go back.

Gluten free offering almost non existent. They thought they were doing well to be able offer toast, and that was the limit of gluten free. If we had selected a cooked breakfast we too could have suffered the congealed beans, although there was no gluten free sausage, black pudding available. Try your local cafe for a better cooked breakfast. The... More

Hi, We are very sorry you were disappointed with the gluten free options available. We do have a number of gluten free options on the menu and a member of staff is always on hand to advise. However, we can order in specific gluten free options if you request this prior to your visit. We hope to see you at... More
