Situated by the central cocktail bar, the informal Skylon Grill restaurant offers light a la carte meals in a casual ambience. Executive Chef, Adam Gray describes his food as modern British – simple, honest and with a sometimes unusual twist on classic dishes. Renowned for its extensive wine list, the Skylon Bar also stands out for its quality cocktails and stunning view of the Southbank. A destination in its own right, Skylon Bar alone attracts many culture vultures who share the company of magazine editors and members of Parliament.

Having previously visited & thoroughly enjoyed I suggested for a family dinner but could not believe it was the same restaurant. Waited over an hour for starters, crab cakes looked like Mc Donald's chicken nuggets, Pate far too strong, one saving grace was Fish Platter for two which was ok. Waited almost another hour for 4 really burnt burgers, buns... More

I met up with my sister and we visited London. We had our lunch at the Skylon restaurant near the Festival hall. On entering a table was found for us and a menu given. While choosing from the menu we were offered drinks and chose from their set menu. Two or three courses were on offer or al la carte.... More

We were booked in for lunch but arrived early to have drinks in the bar. There was a very good selections of drinks including some very nice champagne cocktails which we enjoyed. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we had very good service. A lovely relaxed atmosphere where we didn't feel rushed. Would recommend.

We ate here prior to an evening concert at the Festival Hall and found it to be a delightful experience, The restaurant is large and airy, with superb views of the river. It was very busy, but not too noisy to talk to fellow diners. The food is very good and not too expensive. There was excellent bread, petit fours... More

Came to Skylon with family whilst visiting London. Got a table by window overlooking the river. Service was very good. Prices very reasonable, 3 courses for £25. Food was very well presented and was lovely. Couldn't fault it. We would visit again.

We went on the Evening Standard deal of 25 for two courses. It was a Birthday treat and we got a window seat which got us off to a good start. To start we both had the beetroot with goats cheese which was pleasant enough although there was far too little goats cheese so in effect if felt like just... More

We had the £25 for two courses set lunch, the food was extremely good and the view was amazing, we had a window seat overlooking the Thames. I am veggie and the choice of risotto was delicious, the desert was even better. We were served freshly made petit four with our tea and coffee. The whole bill was £70 (no... More
