This was one of the bet Asian (in general) and sea-food (in particular) I ever ate. I have been there only once, but it hit my taste/buds perfectly.

Really enjoyed our dishes which were spicy as requested. The jungle curry was delicious so similar to Thailand. Service was good too.

Another pre-theatre dinner. Good service, fast but not rushed, really tasty food from fish cakes and corn cakes to spicy lamb and prawn curry. Everything tasted and looked really fresh. Jungle veg curry has great ingredients but was a bit soupy. House wine at under £15 a bottle and mains under £10.

Food and atmosphere really good. Staff were attentive. However the choice to tip and the size of the tip should be mine to make.

Tom kha gai soup was pleasant enough with good flavour. Gang Pa aka jungle curry was not super spicy however and really salty, like they went crazy on the fish sauce or something. The worst thing was the service. We were a large group and they did not get some orders right, brought food at different times with no consideration... More

Ordered green curry chicken which was watery and bland. There were no spices at all other than pieces of chicken in the soupy pot. Rice was dry and hard. The tom yum gai tasted equally bland with no ingredients other than chicken.

Was craving Thai food in the area and thought I'd try this place out based on the reviews here. Ordered one of the dishes and rice. The dish was bland meat, chillies and onions and sauce. I was expecting a variety of veges as well in the usual Thai stir fries like beans and spicier chillies. The food smelt nice... More

The interior of the Thai Pot Restarant is very simply, if not Spartan. The food, however, is excellent and - as far as I can tell - very authentic. It compares well with dishes I had in Thailand. Prices are modeate and they have a well assorted list of reasonably priced wines which cannot be said of all Asian restautants.... More

Found the food fairly bland and lacking in the kind of fresh flavours you expect with good Thai food. Service was OK and atmosphere OK. Certainly nothing to write home about. There are many far better Thai places in central London, so this place needs to up their game.

This review is a little late but we couldn't let the opportunity pass to give this excellent restaurant a mention. We were looking a restaurant close to the Duke of York theatre for a pre show meal. We chose the Thai pot on the basis of previous TP reviews and were not disappointed. We went in about 5:30 and they... More
