Passable Thai food

We visited during late lunch hour. The green curry was served in a small portion but it was ok. The "yum woon sen" (glass noodle salad) was just spicy, lacking the full flavours. The all-male crew looked tired and emotionless. There was no service and just going thru their job without enthusiasm. We were not greeted when we entered.

We eat here on a Saturday night before a trip to the theatre. Whilst the restaurant was very busy we were welcomed straight away and shown to our table which was towards the back of the restaurant . The menu is well presented with a number of set options and individual dishes all at reasonable prices (given its central location)... More

Popped in here after walking past hungry-and pleasantly surprised. Quick service, great menu with lots of choice, all the favourite Thai dishes, busy (75% full) We had beef Penang and Pad Thai-both delicious and really flavoursome. House white wine was lovely and reasonably priced. Great little find in a pricey area-highly recommend

V pleasant meals eaten here, and a great selection of dishes both expected and some more unusual ones. I was eating alone both times and felt a bit neglected because of this but the food made up for it. Very convenient for my hotel around the corner and a change from the buffet or cafe style which is so prevalent... More

Decided to start a night in town with a meal. Been passing this place for years and thought we'd try it as always appeared busy. Although packed and hadn't booked immediately found a table. Decor is basic and probably not the venue for a romantic meal or to impress but it was clean and did the job. Staff were attentive... More

It's conveniently located very near Trafalgar sq and Charing Cross station. Modern interior, friendly staff, quite a range of food to choose from. Nothing was spectacular, but all dishes we tried were decent. We tried - Thai Ice tea - Tom Yum Gong - Marinated chicken grill with som tam (papaya salad) - Red beef curry - Rice - Jasmine... More

I've been here multiple times and the food cannot be faulted. It's great, authentic thai food, made to order. Nice location near some lovely spots in London and very accessible.

I've been going to Thai Pot for a few years. Good food, cheap and cheerful, quick service and friendly staff. Nice spot not too far from Covent Garden and The Strand.

Reading all reviews we we were sure that is a right place.we were disappointed a big time.1. Service: no smiles, makes you feel you are not wanted, the uniform boring ,no manners. 2. Place itself just like a cafe. No tables cloth.3. Main important thing :food was nothing special. I am cooking Tum Yam better.there is lot to improve in... More

Like several of the reviewers we more or less stumbled upon the restaurant. We took a different way to Charing Cross from our normal route from Covent Garden and found it by chance. How lucky we are! It was an early Saturday evening between matinees and evening performances. The restaurant was 90% full but the service was excellent. Menus came... More
