After a long walk at British Museum its a great relief and relaxation for the mind and the stomach with a homely food and family fraternity around, great taste, good food and good quality. Keep the Indian flag aloft in UK where our taste Rules.

The food was tasty, but COLD. Rather than apologising, I was made to feel that it was my fault. The waiters argued about providing a plate, and refused to do so. Some of the order (1 item out of 4) was forgotten. Again I was given a death stare when I reminded the waiter again. A big shame, as this... More

I go to Malabar quite often - I love this place. Great food service and one of the best Indian I've been to in London.

I loved the food, one of the best Indian I've had in a while. I had prawns with spinach and loved it, prawns in particular. Really enjoyed the service, on the indian "steel plates", served hot! Staff was very nice, lovely little restaurant, with a simple and modern deco, but yet warm and welcoming. I went with work colleagues, but... More

Although busy in the evenings lunchtime here is very calm and relaxed. The food is prepared to order using good ingredients and sensible spicing. The tandoori lamb chops are highly recommended. Service is efficient and prices are very reasonable for central London.

This is my local Indian, I have had few takeaways in past. My friend wanted to try Indian food so fort of this place. Booked table with ease , was pretty busy Saturday nite. It's a lovely restaurant split between 2 floors simple modern deco. The service was fine in general. Ordered 2 tandori starters, 2 mains & 6 diff... More

Pleasant place, good service, but the food was disappointing. Rather bland, chicken was dry and less than generous portions. Three of us shared 3 main courses, two vegetable side orders, rice and 2 naan and two of us were left feeling hungry. Particularly mean was the serving of monk fish: the two small pieces that were my share were mostly... More

Better Indian food than most places, great service. The food is only slightly more expensive than most Indian places, but the quality of the food makes up for it. It's certainly worth paying a tiny bit more for good food. I love this place, it's a local favourite and a gem.

Harra Murg or Monk Fish Curry is the real dilemma. Flavour is guaranteed. Not your usual menu but well prepared dishes for all tastes. Great to eat in or to take away. Arguably the best in the area.
