Cool middle eastern restaurant. Very good dishes...tajines were very tasty (lamb, chicken and veggies)...desert was flawless. Very friendly waiters and staff. Will come back if in the area. Only drawbacks were: 1- cold inside ... Why they kept the main door open with freezing temperature outside is beyond me; 2- some wait time to get the accompanying veggies; 3- no... More

One of the few Moroccan restaurants in London offering really good choice of food and drinks. Their couscous is delicious, all sorts of meat are available. If you feel particularly hungry, go for mixed grill which is apart from being tasty, comes at a reasonable price. The cocktail list is pretty standard, the choice of wine, on the other hand,... we popped in for lunch on a Saturday. Cous Cous dishes were lovely. Tender lamb, chicken and mezze were delicious. Friendly service and good location for the shops and Marleybone station.

Lovely cocktails, charming waiters. However, running out of wine, cramped environment & tired decor, forgetting our starter then telling us 20 minutes later that it wasn't available, random belly dancing show with someone coming out to play the drums incredibly loudly so that conversation became impossible and being hit on the head by a waiter wildly whirling around in a... Went here for dinner. Decor is beautiful. Friend and I both had tasty vegetable dishes but lamb looked amazing. Staff were very attentive- moving us to another table at our request and looking after us. Definitely want to Go here again.

Have been here a few times. The food is beautiful. Large portions and all beautifully flavoured. IT cosy and your sat very close to neighbouring tables, but the this adds to the experience. The main dining room is small though and for some reasons the outside doors are left open allowing a draft to come through. in addition at our... More

Wasn't quite sure what to expect before I went here, but I was pleasantly surprised! Met up with a friend on a Friday night. We sat downstairs first and enjoyed a cocktail. The cocktails are fantastic and the bar staff very friendly. After a leisurely drink we were shown upstairs to our table. The restaurant was packed, and tables very... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
