I came here for the wings and was disappointed in them - they had clearly just been warmed up and were not cooked very well, some were a little pink near the bone. That wasn't the only disappointment - my partner can't eat gluten and there was only one gluten free option on the menu which was the short rib.... More

Had the best time at Joes, totally not what I was expecting! I don't know what they feed the chicken as it tasted out of this world! Friendly helpful staff, welcomed from the moment I arrived by a lovely young chap! Great to hear about the prospect of gluten free options too! Will be back for sure

We are returning customers of Joe's southern kitchen but this time we just propped up the bar and had a few cocktails. The bar staff were very attentive and took real time over making the drinks which were reasonably priced. I had an old fashioned £9 a vodka martini £7 and a daily special of a whisky sour £5. My... Visited for a birthday celebration, only to encounter a poor service and unfriendly staff! We had booked for 6pm only to find our table was not ready upon arrival. After making the staff aware of this they then gave our party two separate tables, and said only 8-9 people can be seated together at a time (if you cannot accommodate... More

When your food arrives before your drinks it is time to worry!!!! Staff seem flustered and panicky. Why? They should be used to a busy Saturday night in Covent Garden,no?? Food was bang average. Ordered the buffalo chicken burger. When the food is put down I always feel how hot it is. It should be piping hot. No brainer?? The... More

We visited for lunch last week. I really liked the rustic, chilled venue. The chicken was good, but i would say i count think there was anything special about the food or the service. Our waitress was quite miserable and we always had to wave her over or go and fetch her if we needed anything. Also quite slow on... More

Was looking forward to this one as it had come recommended. Slightly disappointed by the initial welcome - told us to take a seat at the bar as the table wasn't ready but unfortunately there were no seats at the bar. That all said, it was quickly resolved and we were led to our table. Menu not particularly huge but... More

Dropped in here for a bite to eat Saturday lunchtime. We don't usually go for fast American type food, but the menu outside looked to have plenty of options for lunch. We were quickly shown to a table in the window and the service was fast and friendly. We only had a hotdog each and a glass of red wine,but... More

Place was busy but not too noisy so you could actually speak to each other without shouting. Staff were great, and food was quick. Food was a bit hit and miss. The beef rib was great but I found the chicken bland apart from the skin,
