Perfect meal to end an amazing weekend

We had planned a return trip back to London to celebrate the 8th anniversary of meeting each other. 2nd time having afternoon tea here. Previously had sex and the city afternoon tea. We were looked after well. I enjoy there afternoon teas as I find them to be unique. I enjoyed being treated like a lady. From start to finish coat taken, seat pulled back to sit down, pouring my tea. Everyone deserves these little treats from time... More

I visited for evening dinner with a friend and I have to say was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The staff were most helpful, polite and seated us in a quiet area. The restaurant is very nice, warm and has a calming atmosphere (helped by the piano player). Our orders were taken quickly and starters and main all arrived... More

Had a celebration meal here with the family and had the set menu offer (3 courses and 1/2 bottle of wine for £25). It was all excellent. An exquisite evening. A pianist playing, attentive staff, luxurious surroundings, delicious food and high class service all around. This is my second visit. Would highly recommend.

From the moment we sat down all staff were attentive and friendly. The food came quickly and everything was both beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The restaurant itself has s great atmosphere, with someone playing the piano in the background. We got 3 courses and half a bottle of wine for £25, which is ridiculously cheap for the quality. Highly... More

We booked the 3 courses + half bottle of wine for £25 and we weren't disappointed! The overall experience was worth more than the £25 as the food, service and atmosphere was all first class. I won a voucher for a champagne afternoon tea at The Montagu. I had a very good afternoon tea overlooking the greenery of Portman Square. The waiter encouraged us to try a different kind of tea rather than English Breakfast. I tried Redbush which had a caramel flavour. The scones were freshly baked. Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
