Very cozy boutique hotel with a small but varied menu. Staff attentive and food good. Dining area is a bit disjointed which detracts from the atmosphere. Probably a place where you could eat well if staying in the hotel, but non resident guests are made to feel equally welcome.

Went to the Montagu to celebrate a family birthday. From the moment we entered the hotel and were met by the Concierge,Jim (sorry can't remember your surname), we were looked after extreamly well. We were very much treated like a valued guest and not just like another punter, even though it was our first visit. The whole table agreed that the... More

If you're looking for somewhere for afternoon tea I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Montagu. We went as a large group for the Sex and the City tea - it was lovely. A good variety of food, different to a typical afternoon tea- topped up till we could eat no more. The dessert jelly was delicious- we would all have... More

Have dined here a couple of times and cant fault the food, atmosphere or service. Far surpasses usual hotel restaurants and is a great dinner venue in its own right and is on a par with many of the top London restaurants. We really enjoyed the scallops and the sea bass which was accompanied by a great wine and cocktails... More

I had the set menu, choosing a pork coordinated meal. It was really nice. service was slow but the friendly waiters saved the day. And they changed me the wine. that's always good.

The second time we've been and absolutely stunning every time. Use to frequent the Churchill a lot when I was young, and returning was fab. Lobby full of amazing Saatchi Art, which fills the place with a modern ambiance, even though the hotel is even older than me. At the brunch on Sunday's there is an amazing duet playing music,... Our first night of 17 touring the U.K. We had an excellent dinner at The Montagu at the Hyatt. Three course prix fixe with a glass of bubbly for 25 pounds. A mixed salad, a Ragstone Goat's Cheese Mousse, a Ballotine of chicken, (we returned a second time and tried the Beer battered Cod and chips). For dessert we had... More
