Very Nice

The Montagu had great food and service. Especially enjoyed their breakfast. However, their prices could be a bit more reasonable. Had a lovely full dinner at an alternate location nearby for half the price of a simple toastie and chips at the Montagu.

Three friends joined me for the New York Italian Style Brunch in The Montagu on Saturday and I can't wait to return. The food was incredibly fresh and prepared perfectly but the service absolutely blew us away. Our waiter thrilled us by preparing our Mediteranean Bloody Mary's live at our table. Brunch turned into Cocktail Hour as we continued our Saturday... More

We currently live in the middle east and dine out in many 5 * hotels and restaurants . We were home in the Uk for a short visit and wanted to take our daughter who studies in London, somewhere different to belatedly celebrate her 21st. We dined midweek on a special offer - 2 courses plus 1/2 bottle wine for £23 each. We both had pork terrine for starters and these were very tasty. We followed this with the pork belly which was also full of flavour and delicious. The wine (a white Rioja) was also rich and fruity but not too acidic. All in... More

We celebrated a birthday there and we had a wonderful and perfect experience!!! The pianist even played the happy birthday song when the staff came with the dessert. The whole meal was very good and the room is perfect to have a conversation with your guests.

Very cozy boutique hotel with a small but varied menu. Staff attentive and food good. Dining area is a bit disjointed which detracts from the atmosphere. Probably a place where you could eat well if staying in the hotel, but non resident guests are made to feel equally welcome.

Went to the Montagu to celebrate a family birthday. From the moment we entered the hotel and were met by the Concierge,Jim (sorry can't remember your surname), we were looked after extreamly well. We were very much treated like a valued guest and not just like another punter, even though it was our first visit. The whole table agreed that the... More

If you're looking for somewhere for afternoon tea I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Montagu. We went as a large group for the Sex and the City tea - it was lovely. Have dined here a couple of times and cant fault the food, atmosphere or service. Far surpasses usual hotel restaurants and is a great dinner venue in its own right and is on a par with many of the top London restaurants. Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
