So, so service, food good in parts

Whilst visiting our daughter, we decided to eat here, rather than one of the noisy overcrowded pubs nearby Quite a large restaurant, tho' almost empty when we were seated. Started with Minestrone soup. Thick, with plenty of vegetables, but two ( of the four ), bowls had "stringy stalks" in the... read more

A good steak restaurant at a walking distance of Battersea Park. Really nice atmosphere without been too pretentious

Been here a couple of times, love the way you can get any size steak you want (I often find 8 or 12oz are not enough). Steak is better than average, definitely superior to the Hawksmoor, although the chips are a bit disappointing. My girlfriend had pork chops, these were delicious. Looking forward to going back soon.

I'm local and have been let down numerous times. The food is ridiculously over priced and incredibly greasy. There is now more and more competition in the area which really shows how bad the standards are. The staff are unaccommodating and obviously have some chips to sort out. I will though praise the butcher counter, always friendly staff and good... More

As the name implies, you expect the meat to be good! I often get my lunch here as I work nearby but this was the first time I've been for Sunday Lunch and it was lovely. Beautiful lean meat & great vegetables. I highly recommend-there was no room for dessert though.

I have been frequenting this restaurant since 2009, almost religiously attending the half price steak offer on a Monday night. I join a group of friends who all go there each Monday, even though I have moved out of London now. Unfortunately, it's only seeing my friends which makes me go back. I LOVE the quality of the steak, but... More

They have a special offer on Mondays - Half price for the grill. Otherwise true is overpriced even though the meat is fresh and tasty i would never pay the full price for it. It's what I call a real restaurant where you have privacy, you are not sitting next to the other tables. The service is fast and professional.

I've been to this place a few times and it's varied from ok to terrible. But the last visit will be my last. My friend and I ordered burgers, rare. Mine was well done, as was hers. We sent them back and, to our surprise, were brought well done burgers again. I gave up and ate mine while my friend... More

We went to the Butcher & Grill last night. We booked at 7.30pm and were given a choice of tables which was nice. We went as it was within walking distance to where we live. I reviewed tripadvisor prior to going and whilst it had mixed reviews about service, it scored high for quality of food. The restaurant was busy... More

My steak was good, but for the price it would want to be! Food is only okay. I thought it was unacceptable that the kids were served horrible fake fish fingers.
