Good food, treatment was lacking though

Didn't book a table so we were seated on a large table on the lower floor, although other small tables were available on the upper level. We thought this was strange as nothing to say the other tables were reserved. Anyway we ordered and whilst waiting for our food another couple came in and... read more

Looks ok but service is all over the place. You walk in and they just jump on you and ask you what you want, not having the wit to understand that you probably need to take a while to decide. No clean menu. And if you want a coffee in a porcelain cup you have to order it seperately from... More

This place has such potential. Lovely deli and butcher at the front as you walk in and some outdoor tables that look out over some water and boats. But sadly it just never delivered. We popped in about 1130am on a Sunday morning. It wasn't busy and we sat down outside just in time to have the table beside us... More

Went with my wife, daughter and her partner for Sunday lunch, although we didn't have the roast. Fantastic meal, although their medium is more rare and rare no doubt more blue, so if you like you meat over done, go one higher than you would normally ask for. Our waiter couldn't do enough for us, really excellent service and great... More

A lovely restaurant with a warehouse feel. They have a takeaway counter and a butchers counter at the front of the store. The food is very much meat orientated steak, sausages etc. Prices are mid range+, good portion size and service was pretty good. Food was decent and hearty.

Our first visit to Butcher & Grill, and certainly not our last. Having driven past the place countless times, I booked a lunch table for the first time last week. This restaurant is a revelation. A simple menu (decidedly tilted towards the carnivore) perfectly executed. The Sunday roast was simply head and shoulders above every disappointing pub roast I've eaten... More

The review title sums it up. Mind you, the entrance to the restaurant is definitely different : you walk through the butcher's shop with a wonderful deli affair on the other side. The mere sight of the well-presented delicacies in both of these sets the taste buds tingling with expectation -- and the buds then get what they deserve, which... More

We stopped here for lunch having taken my nephew to Battersea Park Zoo. We found the staff very friendly, welcoming and attentive. We sat out the back of the restaurants with drinks which was a lovely spot overlooking some moored boats. The food came promptly and was very good. If I was in the area I would definitely return.

This was a great restaurant with the butcher on the side, so you really felt that the meats were fresh. The staff were very knowledgeable and good. The food was very good, the wine list looked impressive, but was on soft drinks so couldn't sample.
