Treating my nephews to the annual Christmas dinner is always special and I hoped that Racine lived up to my expectation Well it did, in spades!! The food was truly delicious and the waiter was charming and accommodating letting us share the cheese course before the desserts was a lovely French touch. The recommended champagne (at £160) wasn't actually that... More

An excellent meal. The restaurant takes obvious and due pride in its food, presentation and service. Depending on your timing, I suggest the prix fixe 2 or 3 course meal available prior to 7:30 pm - but unless you have a reservation, it may be difficult to be seated after 6:30 pm because the restaurant starts filling up around 7... Chose this restaurant because it was very close to the V&A .The style of cooking is very French - eggs mayonnaise, floating islands ,hangar steak with frites, game pate.An absolute delight! We had the lunch menu which was excellent value at £19.50 for three courses.Staff were unobtrusive and efficient .They anticipated your needs e.g. More of their very good bread!.Choice of reasonably... My regular book club night, six of us given some privacy in the back room. We want to talk author, good food good service. I have eaten here before so I know the food is excellent but the first time I've used as a venue for this purpose. Really can't recommend it enough. Excellent service and the food was a... More

My partner ate here some twenty years ago and she said that it hasn't changed in all those years. My first time impressions? Previous reviewers have pretty much said it all - lovely food, an amazing wine list that could do with a few slightly cheaper wines but our lunchtime carafe of house red wine was perfectly good and it... and the food remains ungreedily priced with, as other reviewers have said, buzzy atmosphere and cheerful service. But, and I know I say this in nearly every review I write, the wine-list could do with a few cheaper bottles. We were three for lunch and two bottles would have been more pleasant than one and a couple of extra glasses... More

We went to Knightsbridge Christmas shopping as we do every Christmas. So disappointed to find our usual restaurant had completely disappeared!!! Found Racine quite by chance and were lucky enough to get a table. This will be our new restaurant.....wonderful service and delicious food with no pretension. Very unhurried and comfortable, Highly recommend.

From the genuine welcome to the efficient service and stellar food this place never disappoints. This Sunday had cured salmon and then a divine pork confit - some of the most delicious things I've ever eaten here, although the chicken grand mere remains a fond memory.

We were walking through Knightsbridge looking for a place to have dinner and stopped to read their menu, which had a set menu for under £20 that looked pretty good. We didn't have reservations but luckily they were able to seat us right away. We ordered from the set menu and after a delicious first course, we were eagerly anticipating... More

When you are next in London and take a trip to Harrods, walk further along the road to this delightful French restaurant. We arrived without having booked and looking rather bedraggled from the horrible rain...we were not exactly dressed for a wonderful meal out but that is what we had. The staff were impeccable and very helpful, the ambience was... More
