Had really amazing vegetarian thali set for lunch and it was great value for money. Extremely tasty and portion was generous. Would highly recommend this joint for lunch.

Went for our anniversary - service was pretty slow and off hand in parts the waiter was distracted by another small party of diners who appeared to be on holiday and conversant with his language. Although there were sufficient staff just seemed disorganised. Food- this is honestly the best ever daal makhni I've had in years of dining at a... More

For a restaurant that is based in heart of London you naturally have high standard and expectations. This is probably one of the average indian restaurant I have ever been too. Whilst the atmosphere is nice and staff - I'll give them a brownie for effort, the food is of poor quality and for the price you pay as well... More

WOOOW! What an amazing dining experience, i never thought food could give me goosebumps but my oh my mala's food sent me into a world of indian paradise. I imagined myself in a tropical indian jungle hearing the noises of the wildnerness in Punjab, that is how authentic the food was. And to top it all of, great management, location... More

Mala is by far the only Indian restaurant that 100% will never let me down. Whenever me and my friends go we are never disappointed the service is amazing and the food is spectacular and to top it all off the area is beautiful which really gives you a special experience. We will definitely return!!!

Visited Mala restaurant with my husband for an early evening meal. We ordered the three-course set menu (veggie for me, non-veggie for him) at around £25 each, which turned out to be a good choice. The food was delicious, varied and generously apportioned, and neither of us managed to finish what we'd ordered (not for want of trying!). The drinks... More
