Great food and a beautiful setting

I always look for a good Indian restaurant when visiting London - and this is really a gem! All together the best dinner I had on this trip. Good genuine Indian food!

I recently had a meal in this restaurant. I found the decor, ambience, staff and food to be some of the best I have ever experienced. The manager was curtious polite and very helpful with suggestions from the menu. The restaurant is situated within St Katharine's Dock, picturesque quite and very close to many other amenities. I would highly recommend... More

Once again, we had a really great family evening made by excellent food, in a lovely atmosphere and very good service. Farouk gave us very personal attention. I believe this is the best Indian restaurant in London. The flavours are exquisite and this high standard is just as good every time I go.

We were a group of about 25 people from work (UK nationals and overseas nationals) and were looking for a great place to eat where we could socialise too. What a great choice as everyone left full and with smiles on their faces. To avoid any confusion we asked the head-waiter (Faruk) to order a selection of starters for the... More

We went here during a recent business trip and weren't disappointed. With excellent selection of your favorite Indian dishes, great vegetarian options, and excellent service, I would recommend this to any of my colleagues in the area or visiting.

I'd worked out that I've been coming to the Mala curry house every few months since it first opened back at the end the 1980's- (1988 I think). The location at St Katherine's docks and by the Dickens Inn is just tremendous- one of our favourite spots in London. Maybe because it's a little pricey, I've never had to queue... More

We decided to eat here because whilst walking around St Katherine's Dock the smells coming from the restaurant were amazing. We hadn't booked and we're told we would need to wait about 25 minutes. .We went to the bar area and bought drinks..service here was a little slow but we got our drinks and we're shown to a table within... We had ordered a table but had to wait for 30 mins before we were seated, then another 30 mins before our food arrived. The food was good , but I so hungry by then I would have ate a scabby kebab.
