Great atmosphere - large doors were open on a perfect summer evening. Excellent service. Dover sole and spinach/avocado salad was delicious. Tucked away on a pretty, quiet side street.

They always seem to have a number of really excellent fresh choices of starters and Mains that are not on the menu. The attentive host, Adriano, is a young, friendly and experienced manager who used to run Aglio and Olio in South Ken and took with him the best chef. The location is a bit tricky, it's off the beaten... More

After a long day of work, my colleague and I were persuaded to visit Giovanni's for dinner. Not that close to the hotel, we sort of flip flopped on taking the drive from the Park Lane. Well I'm very glad we did!!! It's a small place but with nice charm. The food was fantastic and the wine was great. The... More

Really enjoyed giovanni's. Adriano who started the restaurant used to be the manager at the ever popular aglio and olio on the Fulham Road. He has brought all the best from there and added a far better selection of wine, a more intimate setting where you are not constantly being jostled by incoming and outgoing diners, and a really good... Tucked away in a quiet street in Knightsbridge this restaurant is easy to miss. Its been going for a few years and I think has recently changed hands. The new owners are doing a very good job, our food was fantastic and well priced for the location. The manager is keen to please, my girlfriend asked for pasta bolognaise which... More

Taken by business colleague in the evening, expected a high price and average service since it is not far from Harrods and the museums. Great service and surprisingly low prices. Food was not bad but not special, wine good, so overall probably a better deal. If you dont want to spend a lot worth a try

I visited this restaurant for the first time this week with a friend of mine who goes there quite often and I really enjoyed both the food and the decor. The restaurant is small and friendly with a good menu and is well priced. I had Swordfish which was cooked to perfection followed by one of the best Chocolate Mousses... More

I have lunched and dined here on several occasions since the opening late last year. Adriano and his staff are tireless in their effort to please and make you feel you are home from home. The cuisine is uncomplicated and generous particularly at the price and for the area. The menu is simple and they always accommodate special requests with... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
