Lovely food

Tucked away off the main road. We went early on a Saturday night -quiet. Lovely food, and pretty good value given its location.

We felt immediately welcome. The decor was smart and comfortable. Then came the food. I started with piping hot (important that) delicious lentil soup. My husband wanted a salad and they made one especially for him, he said it was perfect. We ordered wine at $20 GBP that in the states would have cost double or more. So tasty, we... More

We had a great dinner here on Saturday night. The food was very good and the service is excellent. The place was full and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Will definitely go back.

Friendly, accommodating and great value for money. Adriano the owner will bend over backward to make your experience akin to a family gathering. The food is consistently good and well priced for the location. What Dimitry is on about regarding his title is totally misleading and unfair. It implies lack of security for your belongings which is inappropriate and and... More

It's a really nice place hidden in the heart of Knightsbridge. Close to the main street but entirely quiet. Very warm and family looked. With good and hospitality staff, delicious cuisine and nice selection of Italian wine not overpriced. So at the first glance at your first visit you can't say a bad word about this place. But if you... More

This a true gem tucked away off Brompton Road. Adriano the owner is there to greet and serve his guests. Most of the guests are regulars from the area. We also fell in love with this small restaurant and visited it 3x in the past week. The food is fresh and tasty. They are so accommodating if you want to... More

On our last night in London, we opted for this restaurant in the Victoria & Albert Museum/Harrods area. We weren't disappointed! The appetizers of a special parma wrapped figs with goat cheese and the rice balls were enough for a small meal. Very fresh figs. We both had the chicken breast stuffed with parma and cheese. Both were very, very... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
