Incredible bar - a must visit!

I can't rave about the Artesian enough. The cocktail menu is incredible! Drinks came served in giant ants, :ego sculptures and in smoking wooden boxes and most importantly they tasted delicious. "The Art” is so clearly dependent on the business that it is annoying. Good cocktail but I really expected much much more.

The atmosphere in this renowned hotel bar is second-to-none, just like the service. The cocktail menu is one of the best in London and even the nuts they serve are amazing. A great place to take a date you want to impress. Most of the cocktails are about £18 and the cheapest glass of wine is about £9 a glass... More

This cocktail bar is amazing. The decor is stunning and is not one of my favourite venues, especially if you want a drink before a fine dining experience or just a drink after work on a Friday. I did have some problems with getting in as there can be queues at busy times. On the first occassion, we were left... More

I realise I am in the minority here - but I really wasn't impressed by my experience here. Service is efficient and an attempt has been made to make the room look good (dramatic light fittings) - but it is just a hotel bar, lacking in atmosphere and rather noisy. With the service charge a G&T is £18. World's most... More

Popped along after work on a Thursday and got one of the last tables before the queue built up and people waited for a while. This bar's reputation is huge: "the best bar in the world" and does indeed live up to this. Staff are elegant and refined but in no way look down on you which is refreshing. Quite... More

With quirky innovative cocktails served in a unique way this is a destination bar worth a trip for. Expect to queue if its busy as there is a no reservations policy here. Bar snacks available. A great spot to impress and be seen.

We came here for after-dinner drinks, and the bar's reputation as "the best bar in the world" does not disappoint. The staff, though highly polished and professional, are not snobby or demeaning as in other high-end establishments. The decor is beautiful and tasteful, and the noise level still allows conversation with your drinking mates. All our cocktails were gorgeous to... More

Love this place, the ambience, the cocktails! even the food!! Staff are so welcoming, not stuffy but really professional! Alex, although busy didn't mind showing me the different cocktails! They really are an experience! You must try, one or two ! When in London I will always find time to come here. Thank you - fabulous! I could work my... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
