Used to be an old favourite. But the set lunch menu has been abandoned, the a la carte prices have been hiked and a small starter of octopus and potato (ingredients about 50p) now costs the thick end of £25. The only people who now dine are Russians and tourists. A shame, because the food is good and the service... More

I was there with a friend in early September. The service was great and food was very tasty. Selection of wines is excellent. One disadvantage - it is quite expensive, one can easily spend a fortune on a bottle of wine!

We were taken to Zafferano by friends and were seated at the lovely cocktail bar while waiting. We were made to feel very welcome by Giorgio (Operations Director) and went on to enjoy a terrific meal, well prepared, well presented and perfectly timed between courses. A definite return to this wonderful restaurant. Jim

We have just enjoyed a long weekend in London staying at the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel. The concierge recommended we dine at the restaurant next door to the hotel. This being the Zafferano. We called in just before lunch service to check it out. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. We immediately booked for dinner and chose the table we... More

Dined here after our wedding with our adult children. Food was excellent along with the wine and staff. A nice touch at the end with congratulations written on our dessert plates in chocolate!! I would recommend this restaurant highly, not sure why people think it is expensive, it is London and Knightsbridge in particular. I would say it is no... More

After a long day playing tourist, we returned to our hotel to pack our bags for departure the following day. Last minute decision to walk onto Lowndes Street and choose a restaurant for dinner. Our first stop was Zafferano, and were told that unless we had a reservation we could not be accommodated. In hearing distance was the manager, and... More

We went into this establishment and after being seated, we were given menus and our aperitif order was taken. I must say that the spirit prices are very favourable and served by excellent staff. My wife and I look at the very pricey menu and wine list. I have no doubts the quality of the wines are first class but... More

The last time we went to this restaurant it had a Michelin Star and was worth the money. They lost the Michelin Star and the chef and it seems to now be lacking that "specialness". It was a beautiful Summers night with the outside area full of tourists and a few locals. We sat inside and the service from the... More

A beautiful dining room with excellent, faultless service. The food well deserves the Michelin star. The surprising thing, given the star was the size of the portions - pretty impressive. Marvellous Monkfish - sweet, juicy and chunky - excellent lamb. Expensive - yep, but then it's Belgravia! All round excellent evening.
