the place was filled with babies yelling at the top of their lungs, the food was really bad from the starters to the main course and the tea - in England AND in a Russian restaurant came from a bag-Lipton i think! It's true I have never went to Russia and never been to a Russian restaurant before, so I... More

Tired interior and not very attentive staff. The only good thing in this – pretend to be Russian – tea room is polish puppy cake… And OMG how can you call it a tea room with samovars in the interior when they serve only the cheapest Lipton tea in tea bags!!!

We went to Trojka for a quick dinner on Friday night, place wasn't too crowded but just busy enough to create this lively buzz. Food was very quick and home-made style, which is something we were looking for! I would definitely recommend borsh, but not pancakes ( too greasy). Russian apple pie for desert was simply amazing, we nearly took... More

I stumbled across this place in the convivial (but expensive) environs of Primrose Hill, after a meander around style Regent's Park. I'd never been to a Russian restaurant before and so was intriuged. The decor is Russian kitsch but homely and the staff whilst not exuding warmth and bonhomie were on the ball. There was a lunch menu with two... More

Met a couple of girlfriends for a catch up and we were there for hours. We had good food and good service and were not rushed or pressured into ordering; they just left us alone until we wanted something and then service was prompt. Would highly recommend this restaurant as the atmosphere was nice, live music was good and the... More

We really liked the situation, atmosphere and decor of this place. The food was really good, with plenty of variety. Each of our party of five had different starters and mains and all were well cooked, tasty and in ample portions. The various fish starters and meat mains seemed the best choices, but the one vegetarian had no complaints. We... More

Thought the starters and mains were tasty - we ordered an array of blinis to start and shared a Goulash as a main. Beef was very tender, and it was not too heavy in taste. However, the dessert was slightly disappointing (the ice-cream tasted like cheap tescos ice-cream -- very icy) Only major complain -- £1 per person for the... More

We love this little restaurant! Its small with a cafe like atmosphere decorated with Russian Dolls and huge pictures in big curly gold frames, right on the edge of Primrose Hill. The food is authentic Russian style and is delicious. With many dishes to choose from big and small.. the marinated Herring is a classic Latkes and Taramasalata. A bottle of... More
