Good food but slight overpriced for what it is

Possible the best cocktails we have ever had. Food good italian with some corners cut. Salad for fish comes stratight out of the supermarket bag and onto the dish, no seasoning etc. For a UKP 90 Seabass, this is a pity. The fish itself was cooked to perfection....and the starters were nice too.

Difficult place to find, but what a gem. The service was attentive and efficient and the food was so good and tasty. Had the mushroom and truffle tagliatelle, stunning. More pricey than my usual italian, but they were not stingy on the truffle and you could tell that the pasta was home made. Beautiful and recommended.

It certainly is a bustling place and quite up market for an Italian. I had the artichoke salad followed by a tagliatelle mushroom which was more than decent. The tagliatelle with lobster was also very edible albeit a little on the rich side. I suppose I just have to get used to London prices.

The food is out of this world. Unhurried professional service. Fantastic staff, please book in plenty of time. It's always busy here.

Great dinning experience. Wine excellent. Tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle oil to die for. Food wonderful, wait staff attentive but don't rush you. A great dinning experience.

After reading reviews, I decided that it's worth the money (very expensive, which can be explained by location) and booked a table for two for a Thursday lunch. Few interior pieces make the inside bit of a restaurant look spacious and interesting to look at. Probably that's what they were aiming for, when we had to wait 15 minutes just... More

After years of living in Chelsea's area, I only found out a week ago the existence of this hidden gem. As Italian I can say that is not easy to find a real Italian restaurant with a simple Italian food but excellent. My Italian friends at the end of the evening they thanked me for the discovery and I went... More

Yet another over priced restaurant that failed to deliver. We were were a group of 20 or so. Seated on the mezzanine. It was Hot as hell! Everyone was dripping in sweat. No fan. No aircon. Just the heat of the entire restaurant wafting up cooking us all alive. - The Milanaise: The batter falling off the meat. So oily... More

When we discovered Toto's had closed almost two years ago, we felt like we had lost a good friend. Every time we were in London, we would check to see if they had reopened. This June our patience was rewarded! We made our reservation and rushed over hoping we would find all the special things that made this a world... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
