Valentines Treat

We ate here for Valentines night. There was a set menu of 5 courses with a glass of champagne upon arrival. We had a cocktail at the bar and then sat down. We were delighted to see that there was a 3 piece jazz band playing in the restaurant - great atmosphere for the evening. We were asked... read more

Cosy, welcoming and smiling personnel. Italian food is not my favorite but I have to admit menu is comprehensive and cuisine is sophisticated. Disappointed by the cooking of the seafood though and tiramisu was too creamy for me. Italian red wine was outstanding. Overall dinner was average.

I have visited Toto's a few times for dinner, day time coffee and birthday drinks. The food and service has been to the highest level every time. The food never disappoints, I recommend the saffron risotto but if you like more "fancy" dishes there is a lot to choose from. The location is the best; hidden down a pretty mews,... More

Simply put, I had the best meal of my life at Toto's. It was so good it seemed like a fluke but my wife's meal was fantastic as well. The house wine is excellent, the steak was phenomenal. I am anxious to go back.

Sparked by our earlier visit, we thought this would be an ideal place for New Year's Eve, having been to the old Toto's on several such occasions. We reserved on OpenTable, where like the website, there was no mention of a fixed menu. The two oysters, with which to start, had no accompaniments, There followed two or three starchy courses,... Went to this lovely location for dinner and it exceeded expectations. Menu was well thought out and was absolutely delicious. One thing that stood out was the service. You were well attended to without it being intrusive. Would go back again in a heart beat.

Have to say I thought the menu was very exciting and the food loved up to my expectations. Truly my best dining experience this year. Definitely go but expect to pay for the quality.

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
