One of the nicest pubs I ever been to.

Went for the first time on Friday the 17.04.20.15. and I will definatley come back asap. The pub itself is really cosy and quirky. The outdoor seating is brilliant, just at the waterfront. The service excellent. The food as well. The only negative I can say, I thought the food was a bit pricey. I... read more

I have been going to this pub on an off for the past few years and it is consistently one of my absolute favourites anywhere. The prime location on the Thames, the historic feel and friendly staff creates a great atmosphere. Although it can get very busy it still maintains a relaxed vibe while dishing out great pub standards and... More

This is a cosy yet spacious pub on the riverbank and it also has an outside area. They have a decent menu, prices for most pockets. The highlight was the quality of the beers available and the friendliness of all the staff. Popular so you may want to reserve a table. Excellent pub!

We drank here recently on a windy Saturday evening. It's got quite a history, although these days it really more gastro pub. Our visit was slightly marred by the rude bar-man who acted as if I were invisible.

This pub is lovely but it's just served the worst sharing platter I have ever seen. A mountain of wet slippy stuff that left my guest and me arguing over what not to eat. Seriously - not good enough.

A great Fullers pub overlooking the Thames. Selection of Fullers beers well kept. Service was excellent. Food was OK couldn't fault it maybe I was expecting more. But well worth a visit if you are in the area, especially after a visit to the brewery just along the river.

This pub is definitely worth a visit. It's a little bit of a walk from public transport, but nothing to complain about. The Dove certainly has some charm. Too many pubs are conforming to the modern ideal of a pub, thankfully this one is sticking to traditional values and is proud of its history. The food is fairly good, but... More

Friendly welcome from the moment we walked in and that was maintained throughout with every member of staff that we came into contact with! Some of the best service that I've ever come across anywhere. The food wasn't bad either. We had a venison borguignon, which was melt in the mouth delicious and a mushroom suet pudding, just the food... More

My son and I enjoyed the most lovely meal at The Dove. A very happy experience in a happy atmosphere and a particularly wonderful soup of the day. Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely lunch of soup each and a shared main with a pint of ale. Right on the Thames watching the kids practice rowing, fires in the hearths, small connecting rooms, low ceilings but comfortable. I could have stayed all day. The staff were great, kept repeating themselves, but really enthusiastic. You will be treading in the footsteps... More
