This pub is right along the Thames in Hammersmith, making it a great place for summer patio dining - I think, since we couldn't get a table out there! It's a pretty tiny pub but a very pleasant one. Dark and cozy on the inside (best in winter), but sunny and attractive outside. We were a bit put off as... More

Really lovely 18th century pub right on the river Thames. Pots of atmosphere and eye opening views onto the river. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the only thing that lets it down is the poor food. Burgers have to be cooked well done according to the waitress as this is for health and safety reasons and because they... More

Booked this place two weeks before going. Explained I needed a table for 6 and it was for a special occasion. Advised by booker that the oval table was in the best position and by virtue of its shape would be sociable. Duly arrive to find oval table not booked for us and given 3 tables pushed together which made... More

A lovely put with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, particularly Rob with his facts! Would recommend for a sunny afternoon.

Rustic cuisine with elegant simplicity. The setting is warm and cozy with stunning views. The waiters were attentive and helpful. They even took our orders when there was supposed to be no table service. Would recommend and will be back. P.S. The manger is handsome and charming.

A musty pub with foul smelling leather chairs serving up standard pub fare and overpriced Sunday roasts. We got the vibe staff were either unenthusiastic or hungover, anyway not welcoming. The pub really needs some attention as the smell of mould really put our party off our meal.

First the good bits. Great position and friendly very helpful staff. However the food was frankly a big disappointment. The worst hamburger I have ever been served said my wife. Ham hock big but pretty tasteless and the chips were soggy. Puddings OK though. Prices at the very top for pub food. Frankly if you want a good meal spend... More

This is a great pub for food or drinks. It has an amazing terrace, although this is often full so you have to time it well if you want a table! The pub is small and always very busy. I would strongly recommend booking if you are going for food. To sum up- superb venue, good range of drinks and... More

We booked in to this great little pub last Sunday evening and wow what a great meal. The staff were absolutely superb, very polite, chatty and nothing was too much trouble. The location is excellent and I have to say the other two pubs nearby on the river make the location great for a sunny afternoon relaxation by the river.... More
