Best pub on that stretch of the Thames

This pub is definitely worth a visit. It's a little bit of a walk from public transport, but nothing to complain about. The Dove certainly has some charm. Friendly welcome from the moment we walked in and that was maintained throughout with every member of staff that we came into contact with! Some of the best service that I've ever come across anywhere. The food wasn't bad either. We had a venison borguignon, which was melt in the mouth delicious and a mushroom suet pudding, just the food... More

My son and I enjoyed the most lovely meal at The Dove. A very happy experience in a happy atmosphere and a particularly wonderful soup of the day. Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely lunch of soup each and a shared main with a pint of ale. Right on the Thames watching the kids practice rowing, fires in the hearths, small connecting rooms, low ceilings but comfortable. I could have stayed all day. The staff were great, kept repeating themselves, but really enthusiastic. You will be treading in the footsteps... More

Fullers pubs are plentyfull around Hammersmith, but none are like this. It's right on the water in a old small alley way which you pass through if you walk up the river front path from Hammersmith tube. It has a tiny nook room on your right as you enter, and a very small bar area also on your right in... More

Friends told me about The Dove, to go visit this magical place. I was not disappointed, We arrived mid Saturday afternoon, the place was buzzing. There where no tables but the manager said. Grab a drink and he would find us one. I had a London pride and my friend a nice glass of white recommended by the knowledgeable bar... More

Although not an ale drinker myself, this was a great place for all who do enjoy a different experience, the choice of ales was amazing with very experienced bar staff to help you choose from their huge selection. My daughter and her friend experimented with fruit flavours and crazy names and had a great time, I stuck to wine but... More

A beautiful riverside pub with lots of character, good beer and a great view. The food was average but tasted fine and the service was good, I feel that the pub has just lost a little bit of its shine. I will go back and try it again as there is nothing really wrong just needs to get it's sparkle... More

This historic pub was a great choice, near our Hammersmith hotel. Whatever you do, however adventurous you think you are, Do Not, I repeat, DO NOT order ox cheek. It was tough, tasteless and should never ever be on any menu. The other 4 had a good dinner and drink

Such a cosy little pub with a cute outside bit overlooking the river. Fantastic food, all the times I've been here. Would love to check out the live music here in the future.
