Nice Indian Restaurant...just nice.

My fiancé took me here a few days ago for my birthday dinner. We went and got the tasting menu with some wines. First I recommend not getting the wine menu as it is overpriced and non memorable. Order by the glass and definitely get a cocktail as that was fantastic. The service was very on point... read more

Nice meal, with varied choices. For a Michelin star restaurant I did not experience Michelin star service, this element was a let down. I remember asking numerous times to order drinks, not good!

We had the weekend lunch menu. The starters were quite good, but the main courses were a big disappointment. Firstly we were asked a total of three times about our drinks. Waiter :"to drink?", us "still mineral water". A few minutes later another waiter comes by and asks what we would like to drink. Then during the main course another... More

My husband and I dined here on Saturday evening. We do not usually eat indian food out as I am able to make it at home but thought we would try it I knew it was going to be pricey as it is a Michelin starred restaurant so for the reviews that complained it is expensive, of course it is... More

Nice cosy atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. It all comes down to personal taste, but I have to say that my local Indian does it better. Naan was doughy and the mains were pretty standard. We were disappointed, but as I said - it's all down to personal taste - maybe we have none!

Bill Friday night came to £266.62 for 3 of us, including discretionary 12.5% service charge. We rounded down to £265. The waitress promptly came back to the table & asked for £1.62! We were so shocked, my husband immediately gave her £2; we didn't get the change. Unbelievable!

Family of 5 for an early evening dinner. We had a very friendly greeting on entering the restaurant and we were asked to take off coats before being taken downstairs to the restaurant which was beautifully decorated and had a visible kitchen behind a glass "wall". The menu is quite limited which was a surprise but don't worry, every dish... More

Very short limited traditional Indian menu that I found to be quite expensive. The service was very attentive and discreet and the restaurant had a lovely friendly and warm ambiance. Would I go again? Whilst the food was ok, I personally found it a tad on the expensive side at nearly £100 per head inc.service charge but with no dessert... More

We have eaten at Gymkana and Trishna recently and this Indian restaurant is much better in our opinion . The welcome is friendly as you leave your coats and are shown downstairs to a beautiful dining room with tables well layed out . The staff are very friendly but professional but most of all they seem to have the right... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
