A truly memorable evening/meal :- Great Table Service excellent with just the right level of intimacy Food excellent (you don't come here for a vindaloo, the spicing is complex and subtle) Finally the price was not astronomical We had only one regret, I had the "Chickpeas, wheat crisps, yoghurt, blueberries and tamarind chutney" starter. It is had to describe how... More

I had high expectations when I visited Tamarind as its a Michelin star restaurant. I wasn't disappointed and enjoyed the food and service. The chicken dishes were amazing and the presentation was great to. This restaurant gets 5 stars from me!!!

I had been looking forward to eating at Tamarind for a long time and I was not disappointed. I was worried that as its a Michelin starred restaurant the staff / atmosphere might be a little bit pompous or unfriendly but it's actually really relaxed and welcoming. The cocktails were really tasty as was all the food we tried. The... More

Six of us dined there on Saturday night. Originally it was going to be two but we changed it to six with only a few hours notice and well done to the restaurant for fitting us in. Not a great table but just doing it was great. The food was fabulous with flavour and presentation. we all agreed with that.... More

From the moment my wife and I entered this pompous epicentre of insincerity, smugness and il-judged service, we knew we had made a mistake. With hindsight, we should have walked out when the first waiter (one of around 8 who served our table) handed us the menus and immediately asked what we would like. After a 15 minute wait for... The food was a delight of flavours I especially enjoyed the chick peas with blueberries with the starter. The lamb and chicken were beautifully marinated and cooked. The service was a little slow but we were a large group and this may have impacted this.

The best Chicken I have ever tasted, the flavours were so well defined and balanced, you could taste every spice. To top it off we were looked after impeccably by the staff.

This restaurant is a great dining experience. The decor, the service and of course, the delicious food! Our favorites were the tandoori rack of lamb, tandoori butterfly prawns and the butter chicken. Thank to the chef, Alfred, for sending out champagne and dessert to the table. Our daughter and her roommates were so impressed, it was their best dining experience... More

As part of a party of 6 we left it to the in house team to suggest a mixture of appetisers and mains and we were 't disappointed. Level of service was exemplary and food quality matched it. Amongst a selection if high quality food the stand out dishes were the Papdi Chat and the Pudhina Chop the former being... More
