We went here to celebrate my daughters birthday and went for the pre theatre menu which seemed to offer great value. What was refreshing was the fact that this particular menu was clearly displayed and unlike some places we did not have to ask for it. There was limited but sufficient choice and for each course we all selected a... More

The food in this restaurant is consistently good and the lunch menu is fantastic value. The service is very good and the staff are always ready to please. It offers the best Indian food in London and I continue to recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Visited 15 January for a business lunch. Have been here before and returned as the previous visit was excellent. The service was attentive yet not intrusive and enhanced the dining experience with detailed knowledge of the menu. Food was certainly Michelin standard without trying to be too clever. Can highly recommend the Lamb Cutlets starter and Monkfish Keebab. Will be... More

This was the best birthday dinner ever. My other half took me here and I was blown away. Finding parking was a bit of a nightmare and finding the place even more so but right from when we entered the building we was treated like royalty. Our coats taken and ushered to our tables. They had a good system of... More

Beautiful plates of artistic Indian food and a thoughtful wine list. Vigilant, friendly staff that is nice to find in London.

We spent a simply stunning evening at Tamarind. From the moment we arrived, through the meal, all staff were very attentive without being over the top. Advice was always on hand, in terms of the menu and the extensive and varied wine list. The menu was a mixture of dishes of varying styles, and after much deliberation we chose. We... More

My wife & I are both vegetarians and with quite limited choice on the menus, we allowed our waiter to recommend/choose for us. This turned out to be inspired - the food he served was amazing and probably the best curry I've ever had (& I've had a few!!). What started as a last minute choice of restaurant turned into... Tamarind is one of my favourite restaurants in the world. It is easy to understand why they have a Michelin star - the food is very well prepared and the service is excellent. Last time we went to London - in January 2015 - we came to Tamarind twice, one time for lunch and one time for dinner. This time... More

My first visit won't be my last. I was looking for a quality Indian restaurant open on Sunday night in Central London and found Tamarind. Everything was delicious and the sommelier made a great choice for us. Considering the quality and location I didn't think it was so expensive. We were looked after from start to finish.
