Yet another visit to this classic restaurant with its white clad chefs wheeling around the battered looking silver trolley/ serveries of luscious looking cuts of beef. We started with a potted shrimp entree (a bit too cold) and half a dozen prosperous looking oysters which were plump and fresh. Whilst my wife relished the pink and tender signature rare roast... Very nice food, super quality of what is great standard British food. Will not go far wrong eating at Simpson's...I would eat here every week if I lived in central London..In one way great the ratings are varied so it makes it a bit more easier to get a reservation,

We went to the Knight's Bar for a pre-dinner cocktail on a Sunday night. The bartender Nelson greeted us with an amazing description of the place and its history. He gave us very helpful recommendations for drinks and skilfully showed us one of his signature cocktails. Great night, great drinks.

We visited for the first time recently for a late supper. Overall, we found the experience enjoyable... although there were some issues. We arrived without a reservation but were given a table within a couple of minutes. The room is quite grand with an old fashioned atmosphere. There was a pianist playing some classic jazz. I notice several large heated... More

My husband and I both have very fond memories of Simpsons, going back over many years, and visited for lunch when on a short trip to London recently. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with friendly and attentive service in historic surroundings, and an enjoyable meal. However, there were aspects of the food that did not live up to the... Our first visit to this famous vintage London eatery, my wife and I were taken to Simpson's for a mid-week lunch by our close friend (who lives and works in the City). The restaurant was not particularly busy - a few customers who appeared to be regulars were also enjoying lunch - but we enjoyed the relatively privacy of a... More

We wanted a classic English dining experience on the last day of our London visit, and we found it at the Simpson's. First the high points. The dining room is beautiful. Classic English style. Beautifully maintained. It's like dining in a fancy club. And the service was equally up to par. Professional and prompt. We were treated like kings, and... More

We had booked a table and were going to be using a Living Social prepaid voucher for our meal... a good way of trying a restaurant and in our case, we usually then re-visit without a deal if we've been impressed. Initial impressions were ok, large open room, very traditional in style, half filled with asian diners. Our initial waiter... More

We had a delightful meal at Simpson's. we went with our two young daughters and couldn't have had better service. Attentive, friendly and professional. The children's menu was just as good as the main menu which was wonderful. We both had the roast beef which was out of this world! A really memorable meal!
