Visiting Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley is rather like a Swiss Grand Tour - you could be in St Moritz except that the view is of St Paul's Knightsbridge. The room is very retro with red walls - luckily they are now less garish than they were when first installed. Very comfortable chairs and roomy tables with good gaps between... More

The truly is the best service I have had the pleasure of experiencing, from the moment we booked to leaving, they excelled my expectations in every way. When I walked into the restaurant the waitress welcomed me by name, I hadn't told anyone who I was, she was expecting us from our reservation. The food was brilliant, the wonderful amuse... More

Its been almost a year since I was last here, I was slightly anxious that it would not match last years star performance. I would have been really happy if it the experience would have been 75% as good as it was last time, but it was 100% as good. There was not one thing on the menu that wasn't... More

Went to MW recently for lunch very nice setting with great staff. We had the tasting menu accompanied by wines selected by the Somellier which was a great. The food was beautifully presented and the flavours were great. Had a look at The Chefs table as we left and would thoroughly recommend checking this out if you were looking for... More

A great night out for our 40th birthdays. The tasting menu was sublime especially the foie gras mousse. Brilliant wine section and the chocolate and cognac trolley was a great addition. All in all with everything about £190 per head but an amazing treat

We were in London to celabrate a birthday and booked for Gordon Ramsay on Friday and Marcus on Saturday. When we arrived for our reservation we were welcomed and shown to our table in this beautiful restaurant in the Berkley Hotel. From canapes & amuse bouche to the main event, cheeses and desserts we could do nothing but heap praise... More

We went last night for my partners birthday and what an experience. We had the chefs menu and were continually impressed with plate after plate of wonderful food. Was booked as surprise and my partner said it was the best meal of his life and we have been lucky enough to eat at many great restaurants. Food wine and service... More

I know this is a top rated restaurant. But if you have really great ingredients why put so many different flavors together.? Simple is better.

I have been to at least ten Michelin-star restaurants and this definitely is the only one who has left me guessing what was really in the food and I had to refer to the menu many times. Not only that, they had served many amuse bouches which were complimentary. Comparing this to Alain Ducasse, I would say I will definitely... More

This restaurant rightfully have 2 Michelin stars (three next time?) We had the "chef's tabel" and practicly sat in the kitchen -in a good way :-) We had a great view of the food-making-ballet happening just a a couple of meters from our tabel, but we still had privacy and room for convercation. We were 5 people, but I think... More
