Patio Restaurant was opened in June 1986. Presently, it is one of the most successful Polish restaurants in London, receiving rapturous reviews from well known food critics of The Independent, The Guardian, Telegraph and Evening Standard. The Patio Restaurant, run by Kazimierz and Ewa, has been serving home-made Polish food for more than 22 years. During that period, this family business has developed true excellency in preparing the most distinctive and traditional dishes of Polish cuisine. Patio received numerous reviews from various critics representing some of the biggest advisory newspapers in the UK. All of them agreed that this unpretentious place, stylised like a retro middle-class drawing room, is a must for any Eastern European food amateur. Apart from impressive meals and superb vodka selection, Patio will offer you calm and friendly service as well as live piano perfomances on occasions. Thanks to it's great location in Shepperd's Bush, this Polish restaurant is often visited by Westfield Shopping Centre customers. Patio is situated nearby famous London venues, such as Lyric Theatre or Shepperd's Bush Empire which makes it a perfect place to dine before or after different cultural events. If you are lucky, you may even meet celebrities and performers who often choose to visit Patio. What better recommendation can you get? Our function room is available for free of charge. This lively place has two dining rooms offering seats for about 100 people in total. The function room, located at the lower ground, is often booked for birthdays, weddings and other family gatherings free of charge which makes it really attractive.

Great Polish cuisine in a homely environment

A lovely family run restaurant serving traditional Polish food in an equally traditional setting. Great value for money. Would certainly recommend it.

Went with friends and had the £16.95 set three course menu. The food and service was excellent, very tasty and good hearty winter fare. The place really feels like you are tucked away in some small Polish town - very friendly and warm. Well worth the visit, we will be going back

I have been there several times and thoroughly enjoyed the food each time. It was always fresh, well prepared and the selection is great. The only piece of advice I would have to serve beer chilled! Otherwise a great experience.

Amazing Polish food - we tried pierogi, borscht, golabki and the potato pancake. Everything was incredibly delicious and super comforting. And gorgeous staff who even hugged us goodbye!

Highly recommended by our Polish friends, we chose here for a get together with friends. Nicely located on Shepherds Bush Common, a brief step from Goldhawk Underground, just down from the Westfield Shopping Centre. A cold evening instantly warmed-up by the welcome and the smell of good food. Lovely tasting freshly made homely Polish dishes.....nothing fancy, just wonderfully relaxing yet... More

A friend and I were rushing to find somewhere quick to eat before a concert at the Shepherd's Bush O2. The first place we came across was The Patio, we didn't even realise it was Polish until we were inside. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The set menu was very reasonable. We decided to miss the support act to... More

Had a great meal in this quirky Polish restaurant. Although we had an English meal, the service, food & drink & staff were all great. Would recommend the homemade desserts and a visit to this restaurant.

Very strange… bizarre, kitsch and tacky like the Polish front room from your imagination. The owner is lovely… and fits perfectly in the front room. This place was recommended by a good friend so we just had to try it. It's wonderful! This is peasant fayre par excellence. My utilitarian white borsch soup was fabulous - a meal in itself.... More

I am polish but living outside Poland nearly 14 years, so I only remember goodness of taste from university years and family home, but because I was studying in cracow, I had chance to dinning in small restaurant every day, because they where design for students and professors, pocket, high standard service, warm atmosphere, delicious healthy food, to keep your mind...
